Wow!

Wish it is available online

Any left in Wembley or was that the last one?

There was more. They were reducing some other ones as well.

Nice little tablet. My kids have them.
I would recommend rooting and installing CyanogenMod 4.4.4 (Unofficial), which can be found here.

What if it don't turn on to re stock it!!??

fab tablet and fab price. i paid over £200 last October for mine and that was at a hot deals price! works great.. camera is ok.. good in the day but no flash. would really recommend them.

Must be a slow day, nobody has compared it to a nexus, yet!

How does it compare to a Nexus ?

If you really want to know I sold my nexus 7 v2 to buy one of these and have no regrets.
The lack of SD card on the Nexus was a pain in the ****.
Be warned though if you upgrade the Samsung to KitKat it screws up apps ability to write to a SD card and even deleting items on the SD card can be a challenge.
So I'm staying on jellybean because of this problem.

Not quite the £79 John Lewis voucher misprice, but then I don't have a time machine, so heat added

Got my daughter a nexus current, it blows the Galaxy out of the water, Quad processor against a lagggggeee cheap as chips processor. You dont have to have SD Slot. Nexus 7" is the same price, get that. Voting hot on price not product.

This beats the nexus v2 maybe not on paper but in every day use its the one i pick up, I don't know where you are getting the laggy experience from but its as smooth as the nexus and is much nicer to hold with a very usable screen. Oh and you get an sd slot! Pauland pam mine did a small update a few days back that seems to have solved the send to sd problem.

Spoken like a true non owner who's never had one.
As i said I've owned both and would not go back to the 2013 Nexus.
And by the way what lag? People confuse theSamsung 7" & 8" but they are totally different in performance.

Excellent tablet with gps on board. IR to use as a remote, bluetooth, expandable memory, fantastic screen, great speakers, good camera and runs all apps without lagging

John Lewis 2 years warranty

£139 in Accrington store but they had the 7 inch medion tablets at £49.

I have two tabs in the past. But to me it is a complete waste of money ..
You could only use it as a display . can not be used for work .

For the thing I normally do on my tabs I have my LG g2 phone which is more powerful apart from the screen size .......

I would rather buy Asus transformer, or Microsoft pro that could also be used as a netbook when I am traveling ...

£109 online

Had one of these then went to the pro, which is worth the extra

What happened to the days when you would be hounded out of here without a poorly scanned receipt?....I remain unconvinced

Has anyone else found these for £99 other than the person who posted the deal??

Out of stock online and £109 was for the 7".

I bought this tablet last year for £200 and it's fantastic. Been updated to KitKat 4.4.2. You can still move many apps to SD card to free up space on the internal memory.

Just flash it back to the Samsung Touchwiz OS if you need to return it. No-one is any the wiser.

It annoys me when people slate dual core processors. This tablet has a very good processor and will beat some quad core processors in benchmark tests. It's MUCH better than the one in the 7inch Tab 3 tablet which I believe you're mistaking it for.
It also has a higher resolution screen and 50% more RAM than the 7inch model.

You can still do a few more things you cannot comfortably do on a phone (e.g. 4-5") - e.g. read a book, read/edit a document, use a desktop version of a website not the simple mobile version, etc. Also good for games that are more complex that phone ones. This 8" is a big improvement over a 7" but it is still highly portable.

You're probably won't be carrying the Transformer/Surface/Netbook in coat but in a rucksack/briefcase, etc. With 7-8" tablet you can have your hands free and no rucksack either.

Careful if you root it as things like Sky Go and Now TV won't work. Otherwise I would route mine.

Oh and if anyone is offered a cheap Bronze Brown version in an Anker case in the Notting Hill area it will be the one I had stolen out my van while I was at a customers door. Bleedin sods out there Picked up an as new one on eBay for £90.
