got this in wigan store other day
its so,ething like £4.38 for 4 or £4 for 8, lol
so much better than the smart price garbage and on par with john west

It's worth look at the bottom of these and seeing where they've come from. With the John West ones people were saying that the Guana tuna wasn't much good.

I must admit, I used to eat loads of tuna now I just find it very mushy, but then I used to eat it in sandwiches. Seems like such a poor way to eat fish, as it ends up like a paste. I used to find the Princes ones quite pink in colour and not as good as the best John West ones which were from the Seychelles.

A good replacement for tuna in sandwiches would be to try and make some sort of bean paste.

Asda are mad !! £4 for 8or £4.58 for 4 haha bet some numptys dont notice and only buy 4 :o)

Beware - got mine delivered tonight and they substituted for Tuna in Spring Water which is not on the offer so they charged me 2 x £4.73 !!! Didnt notice till delivery person left (as they were 50 minutes late and practically threw my shopping at me) Got straight on phone and they did agreed to refund eventually.

I have a fear of tuna!!!

£3 for 6 in Coventry. Offer has been on for weeks.

I doubt the tesco offer will ever be beaten, I think it was 4x John West tins for £2.50, buy one get one free, I got 40 tins for £13! I cleaned them out, if it was on now I'd buy 200 tins (not even joking).

I thought tuna was tuna until I bought loads of sandwich tuna at a good price in Home Bargains.
Cat food!
And the cat would have to be skeletal before dipping its nose in the bowl.

Asda were selling this at 2 tins for 50p not long ago. Saw this at £4.73 on sunday ,next it was £4.00 ...now I read this deal...
There was a long standing offer of 4 J.West for £2 - also think princes is not as good as John West.

These companies rarely say if the fish is farmed or wild caught. Also, when they say "dolphin friendly" they are right, however, the number of other species that get caught, mutilated and thrown to Davey Jones is unreal. Sainsbury's basics tuna is 47p, is ethically caught by pole and line and tastes fantastic. Definitely rivals any of the big names out there.

See I don't think it is. Princes Tuna is nothing more than a mush. John West is a bit more obviously coming from a fish.It also smells better, whereas Princes, has a stronger, almost rancid smell to me.However when you taste it(Princes)? It's bloody tasteless.

As such, this will never make its way onto my plate/palate again.Even if its near free, actually.

Not voted either way as I realise its horses for courses.

horrible quality tuna, definately not chunks as is stated on the side, i personally wouldnt go there, even homebrand is alot better

40 tins for me thank you very much

Also available in sunflower oil as part of this deal. I don't think the spring water cans are in it, though.

However, it's worth noting that ASDA's own brand tuna sells for about 50p a can IIRC
