10 Year Anti Rot Promise included.

The Walton’s Value Overlap Shed (8’ x 6’) is a great value storage space for your property. The apex roofs have a high roofline ideal for storing longer or taller items and helping to provide additional headroom on the interior. They also allow rainwater to drip from the top of the building rather than collect in puddles. The extra low price of this shed is due to the construction which is assembled through overlapped Timber. This shed also utilises rigid, interior 28mm x 28mm framing which makes the build all the more durable. The floor and roof are built from solid sheet materials for added stability. This type of flooring gives the shed a secure feel. The foundation of the shed includes numerous bearers to ensure that your floor is not sitting on damp ground.

I've got one . Had to get a few extra stronger bits but it's still standing after the winter we had , only problem is the roof felt is like paper ! Get some new stuff . Great price .

It may be free delivery but not set up/built for free and chances are you will need extras like a base etc... im not voting just putting my views across...

erm it is free delivery but just like 99% of any online purchase installation is extra. Base included etc but if you need stronger materials ( as seen on the link ) you can upgrade

overlap not very good imo better off with t&g personal choice and budget good size

+1 for t&g.

if you guys can post a T&G for the same price please post.

company offers a anti rot "promise" also

I'm looking at their Pent 8 x 6 T&G at £305...

I found overlap/shiplap to be much stronger and lasts longer than t/g. Had both and while t/g looks nicer the horizontals are only fixed to the uprights and not each other. The shed tends to lean over time. And the tounges are so thin they rot really quickly.
These cheap sheds (we have a similar one) have thin floors with not many support beams so they sag, and the roof panels of ours are mdf which sag also.
So i would get a few extra floor beams and use thicker sheet ply for roof and fit decent felt. Like someone already said, the felt they give you is like paper!
And the 10 year anti rot is only usually if you treat every year with the treatment they sell which is expensive.

Feather edge 4EVA!

I ordered a smaller shed than this last month as it's all I had space for (6X4 - but same style). I was very impressed with the delivery as they called me and arranged a delivery slot sooner than originally available on the website. Drivers were friendly and gave me a call 30 mins before arriving. The shed is great for the money but I would recommend spending money on some wood treatment and better quality roofing felt to increase its potential lifespan!

Ordered several fence panels & a gate from Waltons.
Took 9 weeks to deliver) They quoted 5-14 daus) due to "wood shortage". Total lack of communication from them. When the order arrived, 1 panel was missing and the gate was flimsy & there were several nails sticking out at the back!
The fence panels were up for 2 days when the knots in the Wood started falling out.
Personally, I would never ever use them again.

Good size, but 8mm overlap is very poor and the 28mm framework is awful. The shed also has OSB sheet for roof and floor, does not last 10 years. As long as the OSB does not get wet the roof and floor may last 5 years if you are lucky.

I've just spent £400 on a 8x5 extra high pent shed, fully T&G throughout and has 48mm framework (being delivered this week).

When buying a shed, its best to spend a little bit more (you certainly pay for what you get).

Oh! I forgot to say, I ordered one of these cheap sheds and refused delivery once I saw the awful quality, the driver already had two refused sheds on his lorry from two other unhappy customers.

So twice the price is "a little bit more"?

As others have said, the floor is a weak point. On mine I added extra battons in between the ones already on the floor, and then used 2 inch posts running the other way to sit the shed on as it's too low to the floor otherwise so will soak up heavy rainfall.

Luckily when they delivered mine, I was the last delivery so he had a roll of felt left on the van that he gave me for nothing. So I got to triple layer the roof felt for free

Just build a pent shed. Get the timber from a timber merchant, spend a few days on it,no rush, relax, and if lucky find a good second hand double glazed window unit on ebay as your window. It wont be cheaper but it will be much stronger and maybe slightly bigger too.

Heat added to this deal aswell as it is a good price for a shed just dont expect it to last too long.

Hmmm - heat added

Try these guys, you even have a proper key-lock fitted as standard. I've also had my door made 6ft high, not the regular 5ft 8" (way to low otherwise).

The Walton shed above only has a very low 5' 1" (154cm) door, thats a fraction over 5ft, thats extremely low. X)

I wouldn't bother with this (28mm frame, very flimsy) but as a pro-tip raise the shed off the ground, i.e. build a framework of 4x3 treated timber and put it on that so the air can circulate under it. Sheds rot for fun in this country.

I inherited a shed when I bought the house, it was sat directly on the patio and so damp leaves built up and rotted all the lower planks (and it's made of thick wood too). Mice get in and sh*t everwhere, I was faced with buying a new one but when I saw the quality of them compared to mine I patched it up as best as I could with sheet wood, metal, silicone and bituminous paint.

thank you. yes i'm planning on storing a table tennis table in it which is quite high when folded up so that sounds ideal.

Cheers for the reply Waterboy, my shed (6x4) roof felt was rip apart due to the bad storm we had in February so the whole shed need replacing as the rain has gotten inside and soak everything. I will follow your advice and reinforce the shed with extra battens and post. Plus replace the felt with some better quality ones as I worried that we may see more of these bad/severe weather in the near future.

THIS is the extra high pent, you can customize your own spec etc.

Got this exact shed abou 2 months ago, its closer to £300 with a base kit which you will need unless your putting it on concrete. Its flimsy in my opinion and a few of the pannels are bowing already. The floor is some sort of chipboard and feels like your going to fall through it. Also roof felt is really rubish and tears easily. That said it keeps my motorbike dry so its doing the job i bought it for.

This one doesn't have much information but it's cheap lol!

are you for real mate?

Cold for me... £49 for delivery to me...

I can't understand why you'd want 48 of them. X)

Terrible customer service, never answer their phones in under 20 minutes, that's if you get through at all. Waited in 4 times for a delivery that never arrived. After much complaining, they sent the wrong panels. terrible company, will never use them again.

Its worth adding more stronger wood inside to build up shelves and have your tools hang off as it helped store more.

Utter junk, by the time you add the upgrades necessary to make this half way useful you'd be as well buying something decent!! Go to a sawmill and order a quality built shed!!

I have yet to see a shed delivered built, personally I feel part of the fun is building it but I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I've recently bought a Waltons 8x8 corner "premier" summerhouse (via Shedstore). The initial delivery was very quick (within a couple of days) and the delivery driver was very helpful in shifting the larger panels through a neighbour's garden. However one of the window panels wasn't constructed properly and was distorted enough to crack the window pane. Arranged for a replacement (via Shedstore customer support, who were very helpful - no complaints there), but Waltons decided to send the replacement panel via a TNT courier -with no protective wrapping - and by the time that got to me it was smashed to bits. It took about a month to resolve it and finally get a proper replacement. In that time I had to try and call Waltons customer support directly several times, which is pretty much impossible as either they don't answer their phones, or you get put on hold for 30+ minutes, or cut-off. Then they don't seem to know what's going on in their own place e.g they promised me one delivery which never turned up at all.

There were other problems with the summerhouse too. e.g the supplied door handles were such poor quality that one just fell apart in my hands. They supplied 7.9m of (poor quality as someone else has said) roof felt, but 9.7m was required. The assembly instructions tell you to use the wrong sized screws in many places i.e. too short to actually do anything, and didn't provide enough screws or fittings.
Wouldn't buy a Waltons shed/summerhouse again.

I always cut some additional batons for the base to give a bit more support.
cant fault the company on delivery and customer service though.
