All u have to do...

Whilst I have done this option in the past, if you take into account the cost of photo paper and printer ink (god, that's a rip off) and the difference in quality IMO this is the best option.

Yes I know there is a cost involved in getting to Boots, but a lot of people will venture near a Boots in the normal daily routines

great find!

great

Thanks!

Sounds good to me. Thanks

not a deal but its an idea..
Take your photo - based on UK passport guidelines.
Wonder how many going to take their own photo following the exact guidelines.
Remember if the photo is not within the dimension most likely your applicaiton will be rejected and the hassle of sending it again..

Why hasn't anyone pointed out that it is spelled "PHOTO" !!!

Guide idea though, thanks.

Isn't it spelt 'GOOD'?

Great idea! Heat added.

goddamnit what is a foto!!

very good,thanks

Good find, heat added.

Brilliant ... Hot!

Well done OP!

I think guildelines stated that no watermark at the back of the printed paper. I do not know if this still applies. Do you have any watermark at the back of the paper? Thanks.

Or, if you need it really quick you can go to snappy snaps and pay 99p, get it within 1 hour!

epassportphoto.com actually put your photo into the correct dimensions, you can take as many as you want until you get it right. I've used this service for all my families passports and have yet to have one rejected.

The OP has found a clever and cheap way of getting passport photos. To make sure they conform, here's the ]rules on how you take the photo in the first place (critical so that you don't waste your 20p!). Perhaps the "trickiest" thing is that you must take the photo against either a plain cream or plain light grey background - so apparently a plain white background isn't allowed, somewhat surprisingly. Oh, and don't forget to take your glasses off if you wear any...

Great find, super cool..

Smart

Great post. But it's not really a deal. I've always used epassportphoto.com for my passport photos and have even printed them at home.

26 pence on One Hour service at Boots.....ask staff how long as if quiet it only takes about 5 minutes

"...(photographs printed at home are not acceptable)"

Or if you are even more organised put the passport photo to be printed along with your other 99 photos from a photo printing freebie!

Hot from me.

It's a simple idea that saves folk money, what's not to like!
