These are Hybrio batteries, which means that they retain their charge for up to a year unlike ordinary rechargeables.

Although at 1600mAh they are not top of the range spec, they are ideal for anything that doesn't have a huge current drain (i.e. things like clocks, remote controls, MP3 players, torches etc)

Better still, with this deal, you are getting them for around half price - which makes this an absolutely cracking deal. And yes, you can recharge them in any battery charger!

With incredible energy retention, these Uniross batteries come pre charged and are ready to use out of the pack. Each battery holds 70% of its charge over 12 months and replaces up to 1000 ordinary Batteries.

great price, seems the older 1600mah are dropping now that the new 2100mah are out....thanks

I ordered these a week ago. Not tried them yet, but they were NOT charged which means they are old stock as they are supposed to hold the charge for upto 1 year (and the box states they ar ready for use). That said they'll be fine in the WII

Whoops! I did search before I posted this deal, but didn't spot that one. Still a great deal though, as the earlier posts show. Thanks for the heads up

That was 2 1/2 months ago! I seem to recall it's OK to re-up deals after a month?

Right I am totally lost with rechargeable battery's.
I have a Uniross x-press 150 charger that on the back says its a ni-mh/ni-cd battery charger. I have been using mah (suppled) battery's in this(fine as I'm aware).

Are the hybrio compatible ?

Yes. Make sure it's on the Ni-MH setting.

Absolutely! Hybrios have been designed to work in pretty much all of the chargers manufactured in the last few years.

The only difference you'll find is that some of the latest chargers can recharge a set of batteries very rapidly (anything from 15 minutes to an hour) whilst most ordinary chargers will take around 10 hours for a full charge.

Don't worry if you aren't sure what type of charger you have, as they will either switch off or go into "trickle charge" mode when complete.
