yeah mine are all 300 mbps (play specs are wrong mate) you should have known better than to trust them or read a little bit further down the page

Bought one of these and it broke within a week. Ordered another one 12 days ago and it only got sent out 2 days ago, blam!-ing Play.

Exactly why I voted cold. Title needs changed to n-lite as this is not 802.11n.

Right, I'm completely computer illiterate. If I buy this, do I need to pay for wireless or do I already have it?

if you are using wireless now, you already have it.
If you aren't using wireless (or have never had it), then you need to get a wireless router/modem.
it is not pay as you go.

Got mine two weeks ago at the same price. Comes with a set-up cd, but worked without it, on Win 7, 64bit. Well worth the money.

If I plug this into my printer, will this make it wireless so I can print from anywhere in the house?

No it wont. You'll either have to plug your printer into your wireless router via the ethernet port or get a wireless printer.

Ordered one a week ago and came yesterday. Took 1 min to set up and works well. I bought a Tenda W311R+ Broadband Router to do the same thing a couple of months ago but couldn't configure it, any advise?

Ok I have a question. Does this act as a wireless network card? So as long as you've got a wireless router and active Internet subscription, you can plug this into your computer and it can then receive the wi-fi signal?

I ask because the Internet is crap on my PC at the moment, and it has to be because of my Internet card, because everything else in my room (PS3, 360, iPod Touch) all connect to the wi-confine.'so it's not an Internet or range problem. It has to be a problem with my wireless Internet card or a software issue, but I've done many full system scans so I know it isn't the latter.

Thanks!

Yes. But if you think there is a problem with your current wifi reception, how many bars do you get?

It might be that you have spyware/malware that is slowing down your connection, rather than poor reception, particularly if all your other devices can connect fine.

I have one of the few years old Buffalo Airstation routers and USB adapter supplied, I have a PC which is a floor down a few rooms across from the router ( a bit of distance) the supplied adapter works but gets a very low (one/two bar) reception when it actually works.
Could anybody advice me on whether this adapter is likely to improve things, don't worry I'm not going to come back to you if it doesn't just wanted an informed opinion (i.e not my own) on whether it is liable to make a difference or would it just be a waste of money.
Or indeed any other recommendations aside from this?

Thanks.

upload it to photobucket or imgshack and use the link it gives you, you cannot link directly to a file on your desktop.

Thanks for this - have some heat. Seems a bit of a bargain to me!

Google says they actually supply linux drivers on the CD, so it probably will work.

Can anyone tell me if you need to have a Wireless N router to benefit from this? (I suspect the answer is yes..)

Or would I receive better reception on my Wireless G network?

All I know is that my download speeds have skyrocketed now I have an N router, compared to a G one (I'm using the GetNet 621). amazon.co.uk/Get…8-1

There's two GetNet adapters, one is 150mbps and the more expensive one is 300mbps (as mentioned earlier). The GetNet GN-621U is the 300mbps one.
