80cc engine with full kit to convert your bicycle to a (sort of) moped

Just to spare you telling me; you will have to fit it yourself to your own bike, and to ride it on public highway; get this inspected, registered, have plates made, taxed insured and because it's more than 50cc, you'll need at least a CBT and provisional / car driving licence, or hold one which includes full motorcycle, and of course buy an approved helmet

(in reality it's never going to happen, this is only practical on private property with the landowner's permission)

If the country estate was bigger, I might have been tempted though

Brilliant, a bloke a work was fitting one to his bicycle. Not seen him since. Might be dead or just having too much fun!

Heat added for the deal, because this is a deals website, not "I don't know what I would do with this" website.

This is good for an engine and chain drive. When we were kids we had a great time in the summer holidays adapting a lawnmower engine to drive a wooden cart with pram wheels. This would have been ideal to built it with these.

All the other contraptions that could be built. doesn't have to be just bikes. Absolutely great deal. Hot Hot.

Bizarre, useless, weird idea - therefore heat added!!

Just need Guy Martin to bolt it on my bike and test it.
Then an airfield to use it on.
Voted hot though.

Would be cool for an RC car project

Great idea and price if you the the time & inclination to install

Most bizarre contraption I have seen on this site

Not ideal for most, but there is no denying its a good price. Seriously tempted just for the fun of attaching to a vintage road bike! Heat from me.

I'm going to build a petrol drone! No plates or driving licence required

Looks like a great little project... How much can you find an old donor mountain bike for these days?

Have you got any bolt cutters or an angle grinder? (Only joking)

Happy memories, tcp, dettol and the A&E.
Kids don't have good fun anymore.

I'm going to fit it (and a seat) to my Pushme-Pullme lawn mower (No plates or driving licence required ?)
I can trim the verges on the way to work, and cut my Council Tax too.
Bargain.

Heat just for the WTF-ness

anyone seriously entertaining this idea might be interested in this site motorbicycling.com/

On a bmx

Makes paperboy look tame.

I'm just getting "bad gateway" errors when using the deal link. Tried to find this on the gearbest website and can't.
Anyone got a direct link?

*EDIT* Although it says Gearbest in the title, the deal is at Banggood...
Here
**EDIT** deal title now changed

Travelling he world I have seen all kinds of motorised hilarity, but the nearer you get to the Nordic nations the health and safety Nazis have stopped all the fun.

Even in France you can ride a moped thingy at 14.

Hot from me

How do you get free delivery? It's showing delivery is £4.18, taking the price up to £76.11

I'm sure it wasn't charging postage before, but I can confirm it is now - updated header (still a mad price for a mad machine!)

BGAFF7 gives about £5 off

Yeah. An engine for a bike. Flippin' mental!

Got one, brilliant fun, if you see a police car kill the engine and pedal it like a normal bike and claim you've been using off road on private property.

Cheaper here

What about making a go-kart?

The next time he won't stop at all.

What a coincidence, saw a mountain bike this week in Bournemouth with something that looked like this (but suspect that it was a 49cc or smaller) looked like fun - reminded me of the old french motorised bicycles with the motor above the front wheel.
Heat!

Max speed of 23mph?! Can do that without an engine!

Practical? No.
Fun? Yes!
Is it a good price? Seems to be!
Gets some heat from me - definitely a deal. Will either help create a new generation of Guy Martins or new stories for future Darwin Awards!
