Good price for a 80cm satellite dish. Ideal for weaker satellites.

A friend has just given me a Topfield TF5000CI satellite reciever, would this dish be suitable with it, the reciever has a Cam interface and two CI slots? Do i use these with the viewing cards and would this dish be able to pick up Astra, hotbird or Nagravision 2 - i am so new to all this and would like to get a bit of an understanding of it all:oops:

seems to be store specific - the Slough branch doesn't list these

yes you should you have two options to get both astra 19E and hotbird 13E either to use a twin lnb or to use a motorised dish as your receiver supports DisEqC Control V1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3 please note you cant receive both hotbird and astra 28 where the uk fta channels are using a twin lnb have a look here for your box details ]http//ww…=13

Thanks for info. gap30

Can you recommend a cheap motorised dish, im oop north

Most Lidl offers are area specific. Where in the country is this dish offered? Doesn't come up with my post code (LS1).

The size of the dish you need depends on where in the UK you are (between 60cm and 120cm for analog, and between 40cm to 90cm for digital single satellite reception). If you want to receive more than one satellites from the same dish with two or three LNBs, you would need a bigger dish. An alternative is a motorized dish but I would always prefer a fixed dish.

Receiving a single satellite is quite easy to set up but if you want more advanced set, you are best advised to go to a local satellite shop if you are new to this.

which store did you find this as none near me seem to have it??

Are you sure it isn`t a Wok. :whistling:
