Bad: Littlewoods reputation

agreed. But hope it comes ok.

It's against site policy to include Quidco reductions in a deal price - it's not guaranteed and not everyone uses it.

No, I just know what the rules are of this place. Anything wrong with that?

hahaha.

Good price, i think the tesco deal is better though, fair enough it is slightly dearer but at least if it becomes faulty (which they do, as mine did) you dont have the hassle of getting it sorted that you would from littlewoods customer helpline!

He's right. I've gone for too many deals based on quidco promise - stuff I wouldn't have bought otherwise - quidco hasn't always tracked or the seller doesn't pay and I end up losing

He's spot on with the rules and I'd support him anyday on this

and yes - good luck getting it from littlewoods - no good.

Dying my hair blonde as we speak

if anything goes wrong with the console just phone the sony helpline, they are usually very quick in replacing a faulty console for you

in my experience littlewoods are great for faults just ring up send it back the full amount is credited back to your account and if u wish u can order a brand new one complete with 12 month warranty. high street retailers would try and repair it an theres noway they would restart a warranty.

if your feeling really bold ring up on delivery complain the box it came in was damaged or the console scratched will more than likely get offered an extra 10% off the full original asking price regardless of discount if you keep the console.

sure littlewoods can be hard to deal with but armed with knowing how they work you can very easily take them for a ride too

my ps3 went wrong and i phoned sony, they sent one out the next day and swapped it for mine, very fast and great customer service.

Some say it's a good service some say it's terrible, PS3 is the most expensive of the consoles to have repaired out of warranty around £80 so it might be worth looking at extended guarantee prices.
This deal is a better price but as someone else said more hassle than just buying from a shop when things go wrong...

buying from littlewoods is NEVER worth it, even if you 'think' you'll end up with a free product!

They've been known to charge people more than what they saw on the web page. Have been rude and ignorant on the phone and very insulting according to some posters here on the old deals - HUKD used to have lots of vouchers and deals posted a few years ago but they've gone down sharply due to their feedback on here.

I'd rather keep my 60gb with extra features... it's my second one after the blu ray lazer went on it... adding more hdd space shortly. Having it repaired in warranty was the best service ever - swapped at the door, so you're never left without one... swapped with a refurb with a new case... could be worse, like the ****** rrod xbox service you have to wait about 2 weeks for, yes it happened to me!

littlewoods are awful. i used a voucher once and for some reason they charged me full, when i rang up and said whats going on got told that i wasn't entitled and if i didnt like it to shop somewhere else, not touched them since!

littlewoods really are a truely awful company. I'd never shop there again or any of their related companies. it's just not worth the effort. With me they breached their OWN terms and conditions!

Regarding the full payment, they regularly take the full payment and then refund the voucher amount back, which is a crazy way of doing things. Just avoid!

Yeah go with the Tesco deal - Littlewoods are a sneaky horrible company.

lol each to there, own,i have used endless codes with little woods and they have always honored the price and have always given great service,i suppose it must be there area you live,as its in speke not far from me

What Tesco Deal?

You're expecting them to include the quidco after using a 10% voucher?

Good luck - I bet they don't. Sorry to sound negative but that's my experience with other vendors.:x

Added to my newly opened account.

I was gonna buy a Wii this week in addition to my Xbox 360.

Thats because Littlewoods give the vouchers to specific customers. If you just get a code of the internet and use it when you aren't meant to, you can't really complain they didn't accept it as it isn't a "10% off" voucher its a "10% off for certain people" voucher.

yeah exactly, don't complain like a child that the company is poor when you're using vouchers you shouldn't. it's a risk you take.

I guess the problem most customers have is: they use a voucher that the website confirms as applied.
Start using the appliance/product when they get it.

Get a huuuuge shock when they're billed 3x of what the website confirmed.

This is unfair - no matter what arguments you bring against it.

You might say someone just used a voucher of the internet and thus littlewoods can't be blamed but try putting an order through - they will accept the code, confirm the price and take your consent for that amount when you're putting your order in.

I read on avforums that there is supposed to be a 160 gb version coming out very soon. Dont know why people just dont go and buy the 40 gb, a dual shock controller and a 250 gb hard drive and be done with it

If things go wrong not when... as thanks heavens they are far less likely to breakdown than poorly constructed inferior consoles.

personally i would wait for the 160gig ps3 that is due out oct 31 for same price to cope with the recent sony pvr and sony music streaming
