This is a decent helmet, I use it for snowboarding and on my bike in the winter. Great price!
Some of the reviews site poor quality issues. Needs more research, not worth risking a head injury.

Saved my bacon!
So I felt it important to write a review for this helmet following a nasty crash of which my head took most of the impact. Most of the reviews here talk about the comfort and fit which is very important, however, none which I saw talked about it doing it’s designed job, saving your life.

During a quick run down an indoor snow centre in Glasgow, I lost grip on my left ski going over a mogul which launched me up and I fell hitting the rear of my head hard. At impact, I knew the helmet had taken a massive impact from the sound it made hitting the ground. I managed to get up and get off the slope with a minor concussion (head ache, minor dizziness, sore neck).

I am left with no doubt that this helmet saved my bacon and although I was left feeling rough, I could have found myself in a much worse position.

My one recommendation is that this helmet is a EPS helmet, meaning that after an impact, the helmet must be replaced. Don’t risk it, even if the helmet shows no physical damage. A EPP helmet can have a number of minor impacts, however, all helmets, regardless of EPS or EPP should be replaced every 5 years or so.

I hope you buy this helmet and never need it to do it’s job, however, I hope this review will make you feel better going out on the slopes knowing a well fitted helmet can make a massive difference between a good day on the slopes and a bad one!
