With £85 Quidco I am switching back to PlusNet from Virgin. PlusNet was very reliable for me in Belfast and I never had to contact them during my 2-3 contract periods.

Doesn't include line rental?
If you are going to ADSL from FTTP - there is no hope for you.
If they were so good why did you leave in the first place?
That flipping Jason Manford lookalike keeps showing everywhere 'Time after time'!

£22 a month for fast FTTC or Flaky FTTP at the same speed for £28 a month.

FTTP isn’t always the no-brainer you suggest
I like to think he’s pointing at his exposed chap
Good honest broadband from Yorkshire

I did exactly that and would never go back to Virgin again. Way less problems with talk talk.

My wife liked TV channels.
Remember when they used to advertise best customer service by which well if the actual service BB was crap what good customer service is to anyone! Yes I tried them and they were rubbish so were BT same company
Ive been with Plusnet in the past and they are an absolute joke and comical company. Gives a new meaning to word atrocious. Never again will i go back to them. Their service is so disorganised and broken.
I had no end of problems with virgin with their network over subscribed. I switched to plusnet and have not even called them once with issues tbf.
I wouldn’t recommend plusnet and this is coming from someone who is using them for last few years . They technically team is so sly and creepy. Soon they know your contract is coming into last 4-5 weeks of expire ; net connection will start playing up . Cut story short ; they will send engineer and then blame on you to charge but same time they will save oh we can waive charges if you can sign up for new deal .
Don't count on the cashback, they cancelled mine with no reason given.

Edit: My Cashback was cancelled on TCB, for clarity.

Of course it is.

It's always better.
Had terrible problems with Plusnet after years of service. Left to join John Lewis Broadband and also had lots of problems. Discovered after move that John Lewis Broadband are operated by Plusnet. Both companies were enfuriating bad to deal with.

Apart from the people with first-hand experience who are saying otherwise on this very thread.
Have to vote cold , pointless buying if you want an internet connection
Have had plusnet for the last 2 years connection had been a solid 80 down 20 up so the max it can be i cant fault them to be honest.

Conspiracy theories are us. Your perseverance in sticking to an inaccurate statement has all the hallmarks of justifying a trip to the world class opticians in Barnard Castle.

Hey

I am really sorry to learn you cash back had declined! If you can email us at joseph@quidco.com with your Quidco email address and the details of the cash back we can take a look into this for you!

Hope this helps -Ashleigh

Don't be, it was on topcashback it was rejected, i realise this deal specifically mentioned quidco in the title so i can see the confusion but i was talking cashback in general and I assume its the retailer (plusnet in this case) that cancels it anyway regardless of cashback platform used. Thanks for trying to help though.

I edited the original post to make it clearer.

Totally disappointed with the plusnet service
I went from BT(because too expensive) to their brothers(who are useless). Worst service, internet slow, their customer service advisor told us to better install the old BT router as theirs can’t do the job. cashback only half of what it was promised when we signed up. They blamed us we didn’t claim in the first 30 days. But we never received any email.
Well i'm plugged in and updating my Dell Inspiron 1300 with Plusnet. My old router was still sitting setup behind a monitor. Not as quick as Virgin, which i still have not cancelled. Hopefully i will once again have no need to contact Plusnet for next 18 months.

You don’t know me but I just recognised the username from a previous thread about a month ago and remembered you. Glad to see you floating around and hope you’re holding up alright.

2 months today. My brain has turned down a notch. No face to face talking with folk yet but it'll come. 50 years old and start again. 537 Covid deaths in Northern Ireland and my girl was one of them. Hey ho. Death and taxes. Thanks for the message - your nearly making me smile !!

I hope you’re able to get out and speak to people soon, In your own time though - although the internet is a great thing for quelling some loneliness when that seems like a huge leap!
Hopefully you can surround yourself with friends and family (albeit at a distance.)
Thinking of you anyway
