Good deal but the coloured has been this price before

Got excited about the notification but then realised it wasn't the colour bulb

Horrible things as far too cold for everyone other than @jaddy as you can't change the temp on these, better to get either the RGB, even if you only want white, or the newer white one and pick a white you like which are often cheaper than this.

not RGB so cold at this price (Has been £5:37 before?)

Also waiting for coloured one at this price and will also bite if white come back down

Dont like the fact that every time I switch the bulb on or off, or every time I change the colour, my router connects to Beijing

So does it really connect to Beijing if you turn the bulb off? Was interested in getting the colour one but that's a serious put off.

These are good bulbs, very well built & great value for money. I managed to get the coloured ones when they were last on offer. Only thing is, It now takes me 75% longer to turn on my lights. That’s progress for you

Whether it's Beijing or Shanghai I can't remember, but they definitely connect to China

There was me thinking you like a bit of banter as you keep leaping in with your comments about how we should all live in houses with the welcoming atmosphere of a morgue, but no, you just don't know what you're talking about, my mistake for giving you some credit.

I have indeed bought one previously, that's how I know what they're like, and i like many others on various forums around the net have all been very disappointed with them. If you've actually tried them yourself I suggest you get your eyes checked because they're not working how they should.

You're afraid somebody in China may know that your light is on, but are happy to put your password on HotUKDeals, mostly likely hosted in the UK, a country with one of the most invasive surveillance systems in the world and an itch to take it even further?

I know that's an exaggeration and false equivalence, but boogeymen like Russia and China, who I'm not saying have particularly nice governments, are useful distractions from other countries that also have reasons to be feared. And if you're worried about something as innocuous as a lightswitch simply because it involves China, you might just have been effectively riled up into paranoia.

China and Russia spy on their citizens and everybody else they can get away with. So does the UK.

Do these things ever come with a bayonet fitting?
