OOS for my voluptuous 36W trousers and 44R jacket :-(

At these prices you can afford to go up a size and have it tailored down. Same with trouser length. Down south here, approx £10 to have trousers taken in. Same to have them shortened. A bit more to have a jacket taken in. The difference in look when you have it tailored to fit really can't be over stated. Way way cheaper to do that than buy new without a deal, and will also look better .

I used to be those exact measurements, literally have more than a dozen good suits, but have put on weight and don't fit into any of them now. I will get back there, but not by the time I really need to. I bought 46r and 38r, and will have them tailored. Once now, and then again later if need be. It will still be pennies compared to what I saved.

The suit I bought was a 3 piece wool and cashmere, with a spare pair of trousers for £168. Full price on that was over £600. Alterations might cost me £30 or so for all, and night even cost me less depending on how the jacket fits straight off the peg (Won't touch the second pair of trousers yet as no need). Obviously the dearer the suit is, the less the alteration is by comparison.

Waistcoats can be pulled in quite a bit naturally with the strap on the back, but what you can't really do though is make it bigger, so personally would go for a size up on that one if you are unsure about sizing.

Also if you scroll down to the end of any tailored product, the matching items are displayed for easy buying. But the search function sucks on this site, you are right about that no doubt.
Just bought a nice wool and cashmere suit, with waistcoat and 2 pairs of trousers for £168. Very happy with that 😊 Thanks OP. If you are buying a suit, and it will get a bit of use, I would recommend buying 2 pairs of trousers. At this price it isn't that much extra. If you find you go through them or need another pair later, you will never be able to match them properly.

Oh and just a heads up, if you pay by PayPal and find you need to return it, you have to use the online returns if you want a refund. They cannot give you a refund instore for PayPal purchases. It will be credit voucher only.

So you have to go on to a suit jacket page and then scroll down to discover there are no trousers?

unfortunately it's the fastest way i found of using this site. I'm usually already in the page looking at jacket size so just check to see if trouser is available and at what sizes.
That's great value for 100% wool. Good spot OP.
Skopes joss suit, great deal...
Now £204.97
Then £39.96
Was £49.95
With suits a lot is about the fit. I would go the click and collect route, and immediately return if it does not fit. I tried on a few like this. A few of them were packed in tiny boxes so we're creased and I immediately returned those! Another had creases that looked like it had been worn out on the town!I think there maybe some who try a free suit rental process! Fair play if it is within the rules.

Still I did find a nice suit - Skopes Xavier and that fitted well. The op is Skopes so tempted to try. Heat

With suits, it's ALL about the fit. A £5,000 suit that does not fit will simply look crap, whereas a £100 suit that is tailored to fit (And no it does not cost much at all to do that) will look way way better. If you can get a jacket to fit nicely straight off the bat then you are most of the way there, but don't pass up a deal just because they don't necessarily have your exact size.

At that price I really can't stress how much I would recommend buying a second pair of trousers. The jacket will last far longer than the trousers, and you will never ever be able to match it afterwards.
Suit turned up today - Have got to say I am very very happy indeed. Love it.
Anyone know the real original price?
Bah trousers are undersized yet jacket is perfect
