Update 08/01/2017 use code DSGMHNY7 to get the new lower price of £26.24

8Bitdo make high quality retro-style Bluetooth controllers that are compatible with almost every device out there (you can even use them with old consoles like the SNES via their Bluetooth receiver adapters for the console).

Following on from the SFC30 for £15 deal that was posted yesterday (but now seems to be no longer available at that price due to the code being used too many times) I went looking on other sites and found this at Gamiss - from where I previously bought the 8Bitdo FC30 Zero for £4 - and saw this controller, which is the Pro version (SNES style pad with analogue sticks).

It's listed at £33.67 but using code GAMISS15 takes 15% off, making it £28.62 - a bargain considering they're £39.99 on Amazon.

Update - Thanks to DevinShockwell for pointing out that TopCashback offer 25% cashback at Gamiss, potentially making this £21.46 - although for me it tracked at a slightly lower price, giving me £7.08 cashback, for a net cost of £21.54.

Looks okay, but not going to use it with the switch ahead of the joy cons. So no sense in buying.

So what and what is not included in this GAMISS15 code for 15% off?

It does but you need to buy the adaptor which is about £12 on amazon.

It's likely shipped from Asia, hence the time delay. They will ship faster, but if they advise it ships in 10 days, it starts the payment clock from that point, thus giving the airmail more time to arrive.

I used the Amazon 20% off deal to get one for £24 delivered from China, which will arrive in the new year - though my other purchase came today, which is speedy!

Good for a retro gaming pad (i.e. Sonic Mania etc) or for a third/fourth person to play Mario Kart. That's how I've done the man maths.

Does it work with snes mini?

Yes, you would need one of these - 8bitdo.com/ret…ic/
And, as the SNES Classic uses the same ports as the NES Classic and the Wii remote, you would also be able to use the controller with those consoles with that adapter.

Then there's this adapter for original NES consoles - 8bitdo.com/ret…es/
And this one for original SNES consoles - 8bitdo.com/ret…es/

Hmmm not for me https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/gamiss.com

I've ordered from Gamiss before, thanks to this earlier deal for the 8Bitdo Zero controller that Buzz posted - hotukdeals.com/dea…198

I received that controller 15 days after ordering it, which is pretty fast considering. Other people who commented on the thread seem to have received theirs at about the same time.

I was happy with the service and the speed, and that's why I was checking the site again for other controllers and found this. Going by my past experience I would trust this site and buy from them again - and if you pay by Paypal you've always got them to help you with any problems.
Ordered this for £24.99 from Gameseek. Was meant to be due out on the 10th December. But Gameseek now say the 1st January. Despite Amazon shipping them on the 10th.

Intend to use on Switch, SNES Mini (with adapter), and Shield.
They are cheaper on eBay. Have a better range to
Ordered something from Gamiss 1st December, still no sign of - just be aware of really slow delivery times.

Not sure what the options are, but surely a Mega drive style pad rather than a SNES one would be better for a more authentic Sonic Mania experience?

Would love to see a decent saturn style pad released. but everybody always copies the nintendo styles
Please be aware that the analog sticks aren't the greatest and have an issue with large deadzones. The build quality and the rest of the pad is amazing but I had to send mine back because of this.

Possibly due to Christmas - there's some stuff I posted to people 2-3 weeks ago that still hasn't arrived, and that's just within the UK. But it could be worth chasing Gamiss up as, like I said, usual delivery time seems to be just over 2 weeks.
If it doesn't arrive, just remember to put in a Paypal claim before it's too late.

Cheapest I can find on eBay is £27.98, so yeah that's 64p cheaper, and the seller has a buy 2 get 5% off offer on, so that would make them £27.38 each. Not sure what you mean by better range though - they're the same model.

I've used the SFC30 (non-Pro/no analogue sticks) version with the Switch. I bought it mainly for use with Retropie but they're great as extra controllers if you want to have, say, 3-4 players on Mario Kart and only have 2 Joy Cons. They're easy to sync and feel great with Mario Kart - if Nintendo ever sorts out Virtual Console games for the Switch these controllers would be a must-have.

I ordered mine from the same deal on Nov 10th and still haven't received mine. So, I would proceed with caution when dealing with Gamiss. I had read the complaints, and didn't mind risking £5, but would now be wary spending more with them.

Have this and use it with the Switch. Not perfect comfort wise but still love it.
Heat just for the memories
I really want one of these but they seem too much when I can just use a 360/one/ps3/ps4 controller that I already have genuinely not being snobby I just cant justify it even though I want one.

Cheaper is cheaper and I prefer the protection of eBay. Bigger range as in more choice. The nes variants etc

Yes, though you need the dongle aswell
Got mine on release from amazon, so much better than the switch joycons and looks awesome. Also use with phone and can use as a 360/xb1 controller with pc although I have xb1 controllers for that which are the best.
Going for pretty much the same price on ebay, although it comes from China I prefer the protection and ease of getting your money back. This will go well with the retropie! Also they do snes case's for the pi to if you want to build your own
got one several weeks ago when they were on sale on amazon.
i just cant get it to pair with the nintendo switch.
If you don't mind waiting on shipping still cheaper on aliexpress.
Better getting the buffalo USB joypad. Costs 16 quid. Using it for my raspberry pi3 games and it works with PC

Both controllers - with and without thumbsticks - are wireless (Bluetooth), and both work with the SNES Mini if you buy a Bluetooth receiver for it.

A firmware update is required to make them compatible with the Switch - have you done that?
And you need to make sure it's in the right mode by holding down the right button when you power it on.
Cheers OP, ordered!

You can order ones for snes mini from Amazon US that don't require a dongle here: amazon.com/gp/…c=1.
Works out about £50 for two, including import fees deposit.
