Personally i hate trying to use on screen controls on tablet / mobile and thought this was a decent price.

Can be used on iOS / Android / PC / OSX etc - even Pi, if you have Bluetooth (ideal for Mame etc) - i'll be ordering for my Retro-pie set up

A mini multi-function Bluetooth wireless remote controller
- Shutter function
- Gamepad function
- Joystick function
- Keyboard function
Bluetooth version: 3.0
Bluetooth distance: 2 - 10m
Support OS: Android, iOS, PC
Battery: Built-in rechargeable 3.7V 180mAh li-ion battery
Input: DC 5V 500mA

RRP is about 10 quid, but I can't find it at most stores so wondering if it's end of life

The opposite actually, it's pretty much brand new.
Nice, if dinky is your requirement...
I'd go with something a bit more useful like this one (£6.94):
gearbest.com/vid…tml

There's quite a few controllers on GB but they might not be the cheapest - I have the iPega 9023 but I think I paid less than £18

Unfortunately not. One of my gripes is that when I bought one a few months back the 8bitdo spiel on the website stated that all 8bitdo controllers would be supported. This turned out to not be the case and I was quite disappointed. I got it working fine with my NES Mini though using the additional Retro Receiver, so not all bad news.

Thx, you saved be a fiver
Anyone know if this definitely works for iPad? Website says macOS not iOS. Also will it only work for certain apps?
or if u have ps4 pad and android phone hold down the ps and share button together till the light bar starts flashing. Once flashing go to your Bluetooth settings and add the pad... Works on all androids I own (Kindle and phones)
would this work with the amazon fire tv?

I think most generic controllers work on AFTV via the "Settings.apk" sideloaded app.
I've had a few working (iPega 9023 and iPega 9017) but I don't have that specific pad so I can't say for definite.

Btw, the analogue sticks on the iPega 9017 are a bit rubbish but it makes for a decent phone-based emulator as it has the mount.

The one linked to by @robodan918 at 8bitdo.com is actually an updated version which is pricier on gearbest:
gearbest.com/gam…tml

I'm guessing the one in the deal is the original version... hence the price? As far as I can tell the newer version just has an LED on the front?

But what if your PS4 is in the same room?

any chance of the link to the apk please?
Here's a link:
google.co.uk/amp…mp/

Having Googled a bit on your behalf, a few posts came up, claiming that the app doesn't work on the latest AFTV - Give it a go before ordering.

Following those steps would unpair the controller from your PS4, so nothing would happen. To pair it again you would connect the controller to the PS4 with a USB cable and turn the controller on.

To my knowledge they’re not supported on Apple’s “i” devices as they don’t have the certification.

Dunno if you've ordered yet but this £8 pad definitely does pair up with the Fire TV Stick:
game.co.uk/en/…235

I can say for definite that it's robust, reliable and you get a 12 month UK warranty - worth the extra quid or so IMO.

Doesn't have enough buttons to work with switch. I have 8bitdo nes30 and it works perfectly with switch. Really good controller and build quality. Unsure if the new pro 30 with the rumble and gyro features is out yet as that's designed specially for switch and looks fantastic.
Hot! Perfect for Retropie
Will this work on Nintendo switch ?
