This is a good deal for Vodafone - Heat added.
For anyone who doesn’t want the 12 month commitment I see Voxi are doing 8gb for £10 per month right now - 30 day commitment and you can pay on credit card!
Please note this is a basics plan with no roaming, my wifey got stung by that and couldn't use her phone when we were away and she had an ill father.
Good deal but this is a "basics" plan which has no roaming I think, so bear that in mind please.

Whats voxi like? Good reception and t’internet??

Same as Vodafone rock solid

I moved from Voxi to this deal to qualify for a discount on their fibre broadband.

May I say that their Egyptian customer service staff are excellent and although they sometimes do not get everything sorted 1st time they always endeavour to get there in the end.

Looks good from here. Does any know if roaming in the EU included in this package?

It’s a Vodafone company so the underlying network service is the same; from what I can see it is Vodafone’s go at positioning to other markets much like giffgaff etc... so differences I can see so far (1 month in) are; only online customer service (which takes getting used to) and no app (need to set up weblink). I do find the no app a bit strange for a company such a Vodafone, even Plusnet, whom I switched from had a decent app - but I guess this is one of the reasons why you would choose the main brand, it’s not a deal breaker for me. I switched a month ago from Plusnet and the signal is significantly better so although I don’t get the same data allowance at least I can use the data allowance I have now!

I agree, ive been with Voxi now for about 4 months, and its been great.. I hardly use any data as most social media is included and doesn't eat into your data..
Yes, Voxi is a better option imo ( Unless of course you want Vodafones broadband discount ).

Also Voxi includes roaming.

Its a deal breaker for some.
Is this speed restricted, like some of the cheaper Vodafone plans?
This deal is much better value. 9gb, £10 a month with only a 30 day contract AND European roaming.

Depends on the network, to say its better when people may not get good speeds from Plusnet is a little misleading.
veryme available with this, which is worth a couple of quid per month to many....
Looks good, thanks for posting. I'm on voda at the moment and due for renewal. Will I have to port my number over to a different network and back again to keep it? Cheers

So do I, but still need text messaging for security codes, banking etc
You can get 9GB from O2 for £11/m after cashback by redemption from e2save with a further £25.25 0r £10.10 TCB (not sure which) and you get international call roaming.
At mobiles.co.uk it is £7.50/m and possible £10 TCB.

Voxi is pretty much full blown Vodafone but no wifi calling ..... but full roaming is included with Voxi .... plus social media on voxi is not taken from the data allowance ..... much better deal in my view

Voxi (also vodafone) is not speed / bandwidth limited

Cool 🏻
Maybe best waiting to see what they offer on Black Friday?
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES ON THE PLANET !
Lots of people complain about voxi and how the internet is slow. Tis probably a better deal to go with them rather than this sim deal here

Just holding out till black friday here
Thanks switchy, will give this a pop. Want to see what sort of speeds I can get where I am, as might tether for my home network instead of fibre. I assume giving voxi a shot first should give me similar speeds?

I'd imagine so, yeah! I don't think it's like EE offshoots like virgin where the speed is limited slightly.
