New contract
I managed to get this just before Xmas for the two phones I had on my account. Then managed to get them to add my wifes phone on same deal as her contract was up with Tesco. Best thing is the old monthly I had was £1 dearer for MUCH less
33125262-0bAK4.jpgI have 9gb for £6 .. bought a new sim for 30 days when it was £5 for 500mb.. called them to give notice and get pac only after 2 days and got this deal
I have virgin media and a few years ago had a virgin mobile deal like this, never again, the amount of times you're waiting for an important phone call, but it goes to voicemail when you have a full signal and then you don't even get 'you have a voicemail' message until hours later.
I still have virgin media, so not hating virgin, but my advice is stay well clear of virgin mobile.

I rang them up several times about it, can't recall what was done now, it would work OK for a week or a month or so, but alway revert back to the same.
Personally I reckon that Virgin put the customers on this plan down a grade, so when the network is busy, the customers they make the most money off get the priority service, whilst customers on deals like this, don't get their calls/voicemail until the network isn't busy again. A bit like trains in India, 1st class (individual seats and air-conditioning) 2nd class (bench seats, no air con) , and sitting on top of the train with a thousand other people (like Virgin mobile).
I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole now, saying that this deal is only a 30 day rolling contract, if you want to take the risk?
rang them to join as a new mobile customer (currently a virgin broadband customer) and they sprouted the current website deals and the best offer she could give me was 4gb, 3500 minutes unlimited texts for £8. not good enough for me

That’s what EE does not Virgin, Priority to own customers not resell - EE is poor here for speeds and calls breaking up - my Virgin actually has a priority speed over EE here so my data is faster and calls don’t break up, so I assume that 40/20 speed restriction on V actually works better than EE where on a Max Plan I get bottlenecked and the average is 15MBPS but V is double that. I guess it’s all location dependent but locally Tayside/Cairngorms here EE is pants and V fantastic - thankfully my running EE contract sim costs £5 a month as they report no problems (which has been ongoing since T-Mobile 3G) so no issue it not being used.
They don't allow tethering
I only need the data for my iPad I was going to upgrade my tv will see if they’ll add sim for a better deal
Deal expired 31st Jan, they arent offering it anymore
Voted COLD as Virgin do NOT allow tethering, so whats the point?
