16GB is £9.79

Thanks for posting, have added a pic

Good £/GB, but these are certainly not quick.

Totally agree. These are pig slow.

Dont you just love play! £19.99 Yeah right.

I got one a while back. They are a bit flimsy but cheap.

As I post every time these get posted. They are really slow. Unsuitable for anything other than small-document backup.

Pay £2 more and you can get one with a decent read/write speed

I use a 16gb on my Xbox 360, no problems whatsoever.

Ive had a couple of Sandisk USB sticks. Both packed in after only a few months. Not sure I want another one, however cheap!

I have the 16gb one and I don't have any problems with using it for playback of music in my car.

This stick is far from reliable!

I had one and it stopped working within a week so I sent it back and then got another which stopped working within 2 days!

Found them reliable but slow.

Speed is not always an issue and this is a little cheaper than the usual price so I'll give some heat.

75% off? Really?!

I got this one from play.com a month ago, for guess what, yeah a fiver!

Technology gives retailers a great opportunity to be misleading with RRP and not actually be lying. I could in theory offer for sale a 512mb stick of RAM at "was £500 - now only 10p" as it one could have been £500. The sad thing is that it would still probably get hot on this forum.

bought 2

They also have these for the same price which maybe faster or you can pay 99p for some own brand sticks which seem to be fast for the money.

Mine has nearly lasted a year
But you get what you pay for...

All those people saying "These are really slow" and "If you pay a couple of quid more you can get one with a decent read/write speed" can you be a bit more helpful and link or mention a specific USB drive which is better or the comment is a bit redundant.

Thanks.

Been this price before, will be this price again, but a hot price all the same. That's 2 stocking fillers sorted.

As for speed, I use the 16GB one in my car for MP3s. These sticks are TINY so will be slower than the big boys... but you are paying for small not fast.

There are loads of 16gb on amazon for less than a tenner Kingston etc - my memory seem good on price.

Cheap as chips, but I quickly learned that it is really worth paying a little bit more, say around the 10-15 quid mark to get a much better USB stick. I think you can grab a usb 3 16gb for around 16 quid now.

good find,ordered thanks

Thanks - I've missed this on every previous occasion, but finally got one this time.
