I've just bought a Panasonic HD Camcorder listed on HUKD, so have been looking for a class 4 or better SD Card which is required for the higher resolution formats. Thsi was the cheapest I could find.

Bought one of these for my Canon ixus 70 + the card reader, excellent price and works well.

Should be perfect for those with Asus EEE PCs

If you need the card reader, you may as well go for the MicroSDHC that was on offer @ dvd.co.uk for £16.99 ex Del.

Both class 4

Does anyone know which chip this uses? Could be a really bad brand?

very hot great deal

the 4gb one from play is made by toshiba, not sure about this one thou.

I bought a Transcend 8GB Class 6 card from an amazon marketplace seller for £18.67 delivered for my HDC-SD9

Can this be used on the Wii?

I Wii-eally Wii-eally want a HC SD card for my Wii!

I orded a 4gb Play branded one, mine was also a Toshiba

Is it worth the extra few quid to go for class 6? I dont know much about memory cards, and the effect the class has on it's speed - is it that noticable?

Do they fly you back out to Rio and recreate the carnival at their expense or just give you a new card?

I came accross these ]speed comparison tables, not all cameras are equal and cards that perform well in some cameras may not in others. I thought it quite interesting that in one result a Sandisk Class 6 4gb SDHC was three times slower than the Transcend classs 6 4gb and five times slower than the Sandisk extreme III 4Gb!
Looks like the transcend class 6 8gb is a solid performer in the camera - not blazingly fast but good for a large SDHC. Interestingly when it comes to cardreader-computer speeds there's little difference between the Transcend class 2 and Class 6 - both are around 20mb/s.
