Where's the voucher...can't find it?

At least metal is recyclable so in 14 months when it dies on you and costs more than the original purchase price to repair it can be recycled again.

"Gets good reviews from the Argos website." Err - well it would, wouldn't it?

That is then almost double the price of the Bush one. This Bush deal is a brilliant cheap price for a large capacity machine.

You're paying 120 quid for your 5 year warranty. You could just pay 100 to argos and get 4 year cover or just not bother then simply replace it if it does go wrong.

although this is a good deal for 8kg washing machine i think i would get the Beko for a bit more from currys they have a 7kg for £189 and an 8kg for £199 these have alot more features than the bush and a digi display, and you can take advantage for £20 extra and have delivey recycle and install.

The cheapest I can see for 10kg that qualifies for the 5 year warranty was coop at £529.

my mistake then - just going off what someone else stated earlier ITT

I got a Samsung eco bubble 8kg with 5 year warranty from appliances online earlier this year. £250 plus tcb and free delivery. Seemed a good deal then.

It had great energy ratings and the ecobubble technology uses high pressure stream of bubbles in the water to clean, and uses less water than normal. So saves on the water bill and electricity too.

I should state, I'm not a big fan of Samsung in general. They make some pretty rubbish phones and are being dragged into court every 6 months by apple. And their software is leaning towards the walled garden that apple is too (although they have made some good slide/flip phones in the past).

I wasn't looking for a samsung branded washing machine, but the price, technology and warranty swayed even me.

My work Colegue was a recent repair man on washers. He said there isn't much difference between any brands these days. All the parts come from china etc. Just get the best price for the longest warranty IMO.

Hotpoint, Indesit, creda, candy are basically the same items (cheap crap and built to last 14 months) buy a bosch or miele and and you will have something that may last 20 years if your lucky.

Incorrect, Hotpoint and Indesit are the same company, the others are from different makers.

Great deal if you haven't got much money to spend.
Love the people on here who say pay double and get something better. What if you can't afford double?

Spend another £500 and get a Miele with a 10-year guarantee. Will probably last 20 years, compared to 2 years for crap like this.

That's not really the point, as people that buy a £150 washing machine are generally doing so because they can't afford a more expensive one. i know that I did seven years ago and it just died this summer to be replaced by a bosch as I could afford a more expensive one now. A friend of mine had a 20 year old Miele machine that staggered on, but the clothes came out of the machine smelling fusty. But "It's a miele machine, I'll replace it when it breaks". Shes probably still got fusty washing ten years on. I'd rather have a cheaper machine with up to date features than an expensive dinosaur. I am aware though that people have different opinions. I was really just pointing out that "paying another 120" just isnt a possibility for some, and made it nearly double the price.

I admit I had to google fusty.

Congrats on the most pointless post ever.Shame samsung make decent phones and other electrical equipment.Shame it couldn't be said about apple and their pathetic 1 year warranty.Certainly dosent scream quality to me.

You know it's still the school holidays when a thread about a Bush Washing Machine turns into tiresome "Apple vs Samsung" banter. oO
