Need to get new Washer as old one died - looking around I saw various deals on Appliances direct. I saw this 8Kg load Hoover m/c fitting our budget and capacity needs but there are various other m/cs that could suit others - what caught my eye was the free delivery for 3 Month Which Trial (for extra £1)

Hope this helps if others are looking for new m/c - cheers!

thanks for the heads up, although if that happens I would be claiming under warrenty! Sounds like your m/c not level, or maybe some misalignment!?
After i bought the w/machine, i did google it and a lot of the reviews said that it did shake & walked a lot!!! shame i found out after buyxing it!!! also if u put 2 many clothes inside.....but i will check level....lol.
Don’t rely on the Hoover badge stuck on these machines.

Twenty years ago Hoover made very good washing machines, you can still buy new parts for them and many are still working perfectly.

Now, they put Hoover badges on machines made by Candy and you would do well to avoid them.
Awful brand. If your going to buy a washing machine but on a small budget then just get the basic Bosch/Siemens machines they are the best washing machine brands imo.

Just to follow up on this - the machine is working well and no issues with spin cycle (I did make extra sure to use my spirit level to check all was level and so far so good).
Also I was a bit sceptical about going for Hoover but it was actually an independent repairer that gave me some advice on this and in his opinion, Hoover is by far the best "Budget" buy out there. In fact he has a Hoover himself. Dont get me wrong, I would much prefer to buy a Miele, Bosch etc but did not have the pennies. The other good thing is that after the warranty Hoover also offer a 5 year parts guarantee which is good especially if anything major goes wrong.

In the end, it was the deal I was flagging up which for this mc is still good - if you are hunting for a better brand/ more expensive washer, they have other machines and the Which trial at least gives you free delivery.

As I say, I agree with you that better brands are available but for 8Kg m/c then for Siemens/Bosch your looking at min £450/£500 - your idea of small budget differs from mine!
