loving the pic

awesome deal

Mixed reviews.

pic removed in........5

Four star hotels are usually only three star so don't expect too much , but still not a bad price

I want to see it smoke that cigar

is it me, or am I able to detect more detail in that pic than I'd have thought?

new picture makes Bill sad..

lol i cant risk getting banned from this marvellous site

I've stayed at club amigo. When I stayed half the hotel was being refurbished (not noticeable though) which meant half empty so loads of space by the pools etc. One tip though if on the ground floor put a towel across the doorway in evening and night as we had all sorts coming in from crabs to cockroaches.
Prob all refurbished now so would recommend it. Cuba is an amazing place and nowhere else like it in the world.

I luv Cuba, I'd be back in a flash if I had some time off and some spare cash..... Great deal, esp for a 2 centre hol. I hope someone enjoys it and sends us a postacrd..... (_;)

Mixed reviews.

I've personally stayed there (the Atlantico hotel) and can vouch for the place. The mainly bad reviews was the tipping expectation problem....I didn't find this at all and by the looks of the reviews, this happened in a smallish time frame. No doubt management would have dealt with this now.

The hotel staff couldn't do enough for you - in fact my other half planned to propose there and the hotel got wind of it....gardener went and cut fresh flowers and they decorated the wedding gazebo for him, with a bottle of bubbly
Cuba is stunning and so is Guardalavaca......so much so, am planning to go back there for my wedding.

This is a great offer people - get it booked if you can....alas I am from the teaching fraternity so tied to school holidays and unable to make use of this fab price myself
Heat from me

will i meet tupac there?

I've never been to Cuba but isn't this technically in hurricane season? I tried to change the dates but got a 404 error.

Fly to Cuba in the old 70's Soviet Illyushin 96.....something different anyway.

Its still a very poor country and you can see that if you take any day trips outside the complex. Everyone is very friendly in Cuba and the beaches are amazing with crystal clear sea water. Tends to have stormy days but then clears up quickly. The food was very average and mostly contained chicken, pork, beans and rice.

I stayed there and left early to spend a week in havana, hotel was awful, i am a reception manager and it wasnt so much the staff as location, the rooms (one i had anyway), were not the best, I had leaks in the roof when it rained, the main problem is the location, it really is a very remote location, everything u want to do costs money, and there is nothing to do in the hotel, people really were bored silly, when i went to havana i moved to a central hotel too and the holiday people were absolutely no help whatsoever, i left a review on trip advisor for those interested

Oops just noticed it is comodoro hotel in havana...really DO NOT STAY HERE, its a tenner every time u want to go to havana and back, no hotel shuttle although the other hotels in area do, they man the breakfast when it suits them, one day omelette station was open next it wasnt, restaurant was the worst i ever ate in and again u have no choice due to the location, i moved to a central hotel that used to be an old monastery and that was awsome with great location and wonderful staff, they saved the holiday for me. Comodoro had rat droppings, one of the guests i arrived with saw 2 cats fighting over a rat !!!! Pools and leisure were all closed

This is definitely hurricane season!

hot just for the picture!

I have also stayed at the Amigo. Went in August 2005. Hotel excellent and has been said the staff couldn't do enough. We paid this price, so this an excellent deal - I would recommend Cuba to anyone. As also has been said would go back in a flash!

I was in Cuba June lst year, the weather was amazing, seen rain on 2 days out of 14 for about 2 mins each time.

It's not the best period of the year to go to Cuba. Most rain falls between May and October. That's why it's cheap...

Dont touch this...was on this trip last year and both hotels r shocking.........

its the rainy, hurricane season, best time to go is over winter here but the prices shoot up over a grand.

Stayed in Club Amigo for a fortnight last sep/oct. Was very wary after reading reviews on tripadvisor, but was happily surprised and really enjoyed myself, the only thing i would say is upgrade to a villa room (sea veiw) before going out there as these rooms are really nice and seprate from the hotel (the hotel is very 80s, and is quite dated and needs a little repair, but was very clean while we were there). I would reccomend the hotel and cuba especially to anyone.
