£96 a year after the first year.

Don't quite understand why this is getting cold votes, or can someone point me in the direction of a cheaper deal, or is there service not good?

Ominous sign up post.

Hmm...

Looks good to me, thanks OP

Money down the drain if you ask me

Presumably by the sound of this, they are more than likely going to be taking the pi55

excellent cover and value.
Purchased last year for £6 and has already called them 3 times (kitchen sink tap, stop tap and toilet). All the parts were replaced with new ones and free labour as well. You can call them unlimited times during your cover period and the customer service is excellent.
But don't forget to cancel the cover after 12 months.

Been with them before, made all excuse not to repair if you got problem. So cold for me.

is this only for customers of Severn Trent water

nationally I think. I'm in the north east and we got a mailer through just over a week ago.... the same day our drains collapsed, quoted £3k to fix...

Same here - even lied about my boiler control claiming it wasn't part of the boiler - worst company I have ever encountered.

I am currently on the 50 pence per month offer and I have had 2 issues resolved. Fantastic service in my opinion.

coincidence ? Could have been the guy that was dropping the leaflets off , sabotaging drains en-route to your front door.

The problem with Homeserve is with the tradesmen they use. Some are excellent, but some are truly awful, and you don't know which you're going to get until it's too late.

To be fair, their customer service these days when things go wrong is pretty good if you're insistent, but a dodgy tradesman can do a lot of damage in a short space of time.

I have a totally dysfunctional central heating system thanks to their incompetence (and that includes work by Home Energy Services - which Homeserve own). They've never managed to sort it out after countless visits, and although they've paid compensation it amazes me that so many different people can achieve so little.

This isn't CH cover, of course, but I'd never let Homeserve into the house again.
