Bought for £7 from Groupon

Also, bought one from Groupon for £7.00 arrived damaged, and fully credited, but only worked for a few weeks, and just stopped working even though lights up as usual, ah well for £7.00!! would have preferred for it too last longer.
Still have my Old Reliable Dimplex years old, was of course more Expensive, but as with Dimplex, you can be assured of a Good Descent Manufacturer.

says 1500W ? but at £7 I wish I had bought a few. I have one in my garage/home office and it works wonders but now I need one for the conservatory because it's just too unbearably cold in there to the point it has been sealed off since October
I’ve got one of these. The thermostat is not very good at all which causes the unit to turn off when it has barely been on 5 minutes. Can’t even heat a cupboard under the stairs. Maybe a faulty unit to be fair but I got mine at a similar price so just wrote it off and bought a better one.

The one you have, is it a CPC one or did you purchase it elsewhere?

I suspected that with cheap oil-filled radiators. It's not the thermostat but the lack of fins, so it can't dissipate 2kW without getting dangerously hot. The thermostat therefore has no alternative but to cut the element.
