Lol I thought that too! I so want to learn python for data manipulation for work but I've always found programming easier to learn when making games - you have more of a reward at the end! So was starting to do that with my son with a boof from amazon but covid-19 came out and made work overwhlelming!

I am learning Python for my work and with possible application in the web development but with so many courses out there there is never enough time to do it all.
EDX also has Python courses. I also just got an email from Amazon about their virtual coding lessons. These are meant for kids so will be basic but it is free and Python based.
Python is something I wan't to pick up.

Seems to be loads of courses around and loads free on Youtube. Anyone have any experience on where to start, with the pre-requisite being absolutely zero coding/developing knowledge.
Google Python for Everybody (py4e) great free course from American academic. I loved it although last 2 lessons or so get too complicated but all other ones are superb and with exercises you can also test on his website. Highly recommended.

YouTube like freecodecamp videos.

The best way to learn is after you get good grasp just build something basic that challenges you. And keep Google searching on how to overcome some issues you may face.

Honestly I learnt 80% of my degree (Computer science) content off YouTube/free online resources. Found it way more useful than my most of my professors haha
Has anyone done this course?

Looks good but £25.99

showing £16.99 for me (I was already logged into my account). I heard people say they even drop to £10, I guess you have to keep checking back.

The course does look good. Anyone done this one? Or have recommendations? (even if it is paid a courses). Thanks

I just signed up for the web development course by the same guy, going to give that a go and if its good perhaps move on to Python. Depends how long I'm on Furlough leave.

There is a link to the instructors twitter profile and his website which all looks legit, and a lot of people have done the course.

Nice, let us know how it goes.

I just checked his website and like how there’s testimonials of people securing jobs with the help of his course.
