Cold... It will be there.

Yoda, haven't spoken to you in a while, I have not.
I've had a couple of very bad experiences with Crystal Travel. I would not recommend.
Claiming a refund for cancelled flights by the airline took the agent 4 months to process and that was only from filing a claim with Amex to get my money back. I could rant about them for a while, they were really awful.

sadly the issue with many airlines/agencies. took over a year of back and forth to get my compensation for my cancelled international british airways flight. they kept insisting that because i didn't actually take the flight, that i wasn't entitled to compensation. how on earth am i supposed to fly in a cancelled flight

Whilst I don't doubt you have had a bad experience, the feedback is generally good 9.3/10 from 13,440 reviews

Outbound is to Prague, so expect is budget airlines Easyjet or Ryanair, but maybe confirm with the provider first if thinking of booking. thanks
Could be Wizz Air if going to Prague from Nodnol.
I did this in October last year. Really enjoyed it. The train travel was really good and beats flying.
Budapest was my fave.

As in I did this trip myself not thought a travel agent etc...

You can’t delete reviews on trustpilot as a store/business. We where paying them £150 a month and if we got bad reviews there was nothing you could do unless it was unverified ie review not linked to an order then you could request trust pilot to review and remove but they very rarely did unless it was blatant spam.

You needed to have been the next tier up at £250 a month to be able to delete reviews

This .
We bought an item from an eBay shop and it was nothing as described when it arrived . We sent it back with the delivery guy that brought it .
Put a review on trustpilot to warn others .. The shop had it removed , claiming we were "rival sellers" as they had done with other reviews . Trustpilot didn't reply to my complaint . Same company had hundreds of obviously fake feedback on EBay also , 50 appeared in 1 day for the same item , all excellent . Pointed this out to EBay , who had to refund me ,as the shop refused, and still they did nothing .
Reviews / feedback arelargely meaningless if the business can have any bad reviews removed.
Buckle up hukkers @deeky is taking us on another hol

I think it will be much colder in Eastern Europe in January / February. But , fabulous destinations. I went to Krakow in January and it was minus 12c .

That is the problem with all these review things, Argos are probably one of the best retailers in the UK but if you look at their ratings it’s awful, yet when I bring back a manky kettle after 6 months with no box or packaging they exchange it there and then. Until there is some sort of genuine review system linked to actual sales business will keep trying to use fake reviews.

Lol @ Argos. My phone developed an issue (battery would discharge at 40%). Went to store and also contacted customer service. They claimed this has nothing to do with them and that I should contact manufacturer.
Take your thermals😰😨
Careful with Crystal Travel. I had one booked for my parents last year. They give you the worst flight choices, expect you to pay hundreds more for better times and charge more than the airlines ask for for baggage. They then booked a hotel that was closed for refurb and didn’t tell them when they arrived. (Also said the hotel on groupon was not recommended etc and kept pushing for me to upgrade for ££ more). No one to pick them up and their service was useless. Go on their site and you’ll find so many different numbers, some are no longer active either. Didn’t help with looking for a different hotel for the entire day and refused to refund when they downgraded them in rating.

Ended up getting legal advise to claim the money back and to get a resolution.

EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE, please buy with caution if you choose to go ahead.

It's on the continent so it usually is colder. Vienna is really nice that time of year, it's cold, but the markets are nice.

I'm sure they are fine at getting your requirements booked, which from what I can read is what most of the positive reviews are based on. The problem lies is when something goes wrong... They lied to my face, ignored my calls and emails, hung up on me several times, tried to charge me £200 'admin fee' for a typo in a name which they made which the airline would have corrected for free... I could go on for a while, and I’m really not a difficult customer!I just wanted my money back, and for the airline’s goodwill gesture to be honoured, which they very obviously did not want to do. I eventually got my money back but it took hours of my time and energy, goodwill gesture never happened.

That’s how these companies make their money. They won’t be making money selling at this price after paying Groupon it’s commission. They make their money by selling upgrades and extras.

Did you go to all 3 cities? If so, how much did it approximately cost and how long did you go for? Don’t mean to be nosy, rather book it myself than through a company lol, thank you.

Ah, Ok. Let me try and have a think. Did 2 Nights in Vienna, 3 nights in Brat and 3 nights in Buda.

Flew in to Vienna and flew out of Buda. Work out which way round the flights work out the cheapest. Flights were like £60. Train travel wasnt much. Probably about £50 as well I think. I stayed in hostels so the accomodation was about £60. However, this is great deal if you can find someone to share the hotel costs. Vienna was the the most expensive. Buda and Buda are cheap as chips.

Yep some awesome places .. Gdansk is very pretty and some nice craft ale cafes helped a lot ... So did the £6 each way flights on Cryanair .. We paid about £100 each for Friday , Saturday fly home Sunday , good flight times , excellent hotel , breakfast ,the lot ,last November . Was -2 at night but dry and made sitting in the bars and restaurants really warm and cosy . Polish folks were awesome and the place very clean .. Cheap food and drink to boot .
Looking at Brno , Bratislava , or anywhere Eastern Europe with cheap flights tbh next

They have their fair share, the rain and the wind make it feel cold, but also bring heat themselves.

Continental weather is easier to get used to, but it is pretty miserable in Winter.
