ok not the best tablet in the world, but under £50 from a major retailer, good enough to keep the kids quiet.

seems to not allow it once you click on it.
copy and paste it, it loads then

Seems not bad for the price.

What's the processor in this Mediatek? screen resoultion looks low and the battrey life looks like it won't last but seem decent for the money any hdmi out ? Does it have its own dc in or does it charge via usb ?

Seems an okay price - it includes this:

Real-time supportYou get instant access to great customer service with … Real-time supportYou get instant access to great customer service with your Hipstreet Flare 3 8GB tablet. It has a great chat-based app that allows you to communicate with the Hipstreet Customer Support team in real-time, and solve any issues big or small.

Personally I would buy a reconditioned Hudl which can be had for the same money... it's only downs compared to this are the 7" screen (although better resolution) and no official OS updates (the cameras suck too!)
Oh the one review on CPW seems to suggest it takes 6-7 hours to fully charge - seriously? The Hudl is fully charged in under 4 hours!

Looks like it does have a HDMI - and has a DC charger ... I have a device that ONLY charges by it's own charger, not by USB.
1GB RAM, definitely a plus compared to 512MB

1024x600 screen, that was OK for my old 4" phone. Not sure how it would look on a 9" tablet...

Hmmmmmmmmmm ......... not tooooooooo bad I guess for only £50 I guess? lool. :-)

It has cr*ap reviews everywhere you look.

nice bit of kit bit expensive though

Even the manufacturer doesn't think this is a proper tablet...

Save for a better tablet is my advise...and it's good advice! You get what you pay for and trust me,3 months down the line and you will be cracking this against the wall, trust.

I would imagine those dimentions are the size of the box its supplied in. Ive ordered one. Ideal for the little one travelling so she can watch films etc

Same issues with these kind of tablets - the price is always tempting, but the screen resolution, viewing angle, and WiFi reception are poor.

I guess this deal is dead now that there is the HD tablet running Windows for the same money.

I'm voting cold because it's CPW.
After FOUR months of trying to get £2o back from (which they freely admit they owe me) I have given up & will now be devoting my remaining years to rubbishing them wherever possible.
Mostly it's because of the time they have stolen, not the money.
Please, if you can, AVOID CPW.
Thank you.
(Is this OK mods?)

Arrived today great value for 50 quid HDMI out as well been playing about with it very impressed for the money try and get another one if there more stock

thanks Op

I bought two of their £50 tablets two years ago, still working (just about) - though slow and unresponsive on occasions. Fine for kids in the car, no good for those with little patience...

I went to collect this item this lunchtime. Nice solid item, quad core running at 1.5gig. Happy with it, will be perfect for the daughter in the car. HDMI Out is a bonus. For £50 you can't really complain...

looking for a tablet with hdmi mainly to run showbox and few other things- would u recommend?

I haven't tried the HDMI yet....I'll be honest the display isn't the best in the world but for 50 quid I wouldn't expect it to be.

It has a separate interface for the power cable (but seems to charge by usb as well). micro sd slots is a little fiddly (you need a flat head screwdriver to insert the card sufficiently for it to click into place).

I installed Showbox & XBMC on it and it runs great.
