Would this strip the paint off a car or would it just clean it?

It’ll clean it

Depending on how you clean it. If the paint is in a rough condition, if there are chips or rust somewhere and you're up close to it like inches away, it could well chip nicely. So stay a safe distance from the surface you're cleaning and you'll be alright
This ones slightly dearer but it has a higher pressure rating and includes the patio cleaner. hotukdeals.com/dea…367
90 bar useless, you are better with hose. waste of money
Don't bother with one of these, won't clean anything!
Wait for the Nilfisk 110 bar washer. Usually £50

I was given an old bosh 90 bar model and sure it took longer to clean the patio but was fine for the car. I've just upgraded to a 125 bar and tbh there isn't much difference. This at the price is good and will do the job but slower. Time is something we have plenty of now.
Just bought a brand new T4 off gumtree for £100 - shows what you can get if you shop around... bargain!
90 bar? My Nilfisk i got for £60 is 110 bar and not enough.

I think more pressure is needed for a patio. 130 ideally.
Don't bother, but one from a known reputable maker. These cac makes just stop to bits and camt be repaired. Karcher are great last years.
Do any of these ~£50 units support using a non-mains water source, e.g. a water butt? I'm teetering on ordering a Worx Hydroshot but mains power is not an issue, just the water supply!

This will strip off the wax layer of the car and possibly the paint. Better to use microfibre towels. I recommend Chrisfix's video on YouTube on how to clean your car.
My 350 bar won't take paint off a car some people are clueless... Hahaha

What if there isn’t a wax layer? Will this just tear off the paint and melt away the bodywork?

How can you wash a car with a towel? Why not go the whole hog and use a pneumatic drill to get rid of stubborn tar spots?

There isn’t a car cleaning person on YouTube worth watching that doesn’t use a pressure washer, especially ones with petrol engines, not some second rate peas shooter like this model.
90 bar lol, couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding lol......lol......lol

Your hyperbole is funny. I hope people don't take you seriously.

It’s nearly as funny as your original comment isn’t it?

This machine won’t strip paint, a towel shouldn’t be used to wash a car and people shouldn’t be taking your comment seriously.

For a decent approach to washing a car then the Car Cleaning Guru is worth a watch on YouTube.
