90 Day Playstation Plus Membership 250 Cokezone Points

40
Found 24th Dec 2012
Just happened to go on the cokezone website to enter some codes and thought id have a browse of the rewards to see if theres any new ones been added and stumbled across this. 90 day Playstation Plus membership for 250 cokezone points. Handy for those that have built points up but not spent them for a while as there hasn't been anything worthwhile on there for ages. Looks like the code is posted out not emailed which is a bit of a downside.

Also there is FIFA 13, Need for Speed Most Wanted (both for PS3) and a Dualshock controller for 400 points, links are in 2nd comment

Well they took away all my points because I was "inactive" so MEH! :P This is what like 80 bottles 2L bottles? or is it more than 3pts per bottle?

Get a DS3.. more value!

I had so many points, just cos I didn't remember going on to cokezone for couple of months, they made my points zero. Bloody rip off accumulating all those points, I dont see any need why they would need to make points 0 when the account is still there and not been closed.

250 points used to buy a full game from EA. Got Battlefield 3 for free. Sadly, the points seem to have devalued.

Coke and other fizzy drinks don't rot your teeth, it's just one of those myths people think are true. Crisps on the other hand, are very bad for your teeth.

Umm yes fizzy drinks do damage your teeth as it's just sugar water. It also gives you acne.

I had no idea cokezone had such great items! Gunna start to collect now.

I'm an Xboxer so this ain't much use, but hopefully a sign of things to come.

Fizzy drinks damage your teeth more because they are carbonated than because they have sugar, assuming of course you brush regularly. Being carbonated means the drink is acidic and therefore causes erosion of the teeth. Having said this, an excess of sugar isn't exactly good for your health anyway, so diet coke is better for you, but is still very bad for your teeth.

kinda unrelated to the deal but.... diet coke is worse for you than the full fat stuff. it's more acidic and has aspartame which if u don't know how bad it is look it up- theres not much it hasn't been linked to, cancer ME diabetes MS and a whole lot more!! i still drink too much of the stuff :-(

just drink with a straw. Wont ruin your teeth :-)

Had my points for ages and at last I got something good. I was looking to buy a 12gb PS3 on Boxing Day for £110 from Tesco Direct, 1 for a controller and 2 for a Blu Ray player, but now thanks to Coke Zone Im just on the look out for a cheap Blu Ray player.
Thanks for the post.

No they don't. Sugar dissolves incredibly easily and so the vast majority of the sugar will wash straight out of your mouth. Starch, found in crisps, however is not dissolved as easily and so sticks to the teeth. Starch of course being a complex of sugars, which is broken down into sugar. It isn't generally acid itself in food that corrodes the teeth that much, it's bacteria feeding on the food and producing acid that does it.

I miss the days before the internet when people would reply with "I don't know" when discussing a topic they don't know about. Now anyone and everyone thinks they are an expert in everything because they skim read the wikipedia article on it...

So to sum up this deal......
first of all you need to lose all your teeth (80 bottles of coke should do it!)...in order to
Lose your mind entirely (90 days of constant MW3.....just enough to get send you on a mini rampage in your own village)

All things in moderation of course, but this deal is definitely one for brainless, toothless morons.....IMHO.

Why would getting PS+ result in you playing MW3 constantly for 90 days? If anything, I'd say the exact opposite. PS+ gives you free games to play - not including MW3 - which means you'd be more inclined to put MW3 aside and play these games while you still can.

No information of what constitutes a 'safe level' of consumption though. The manufacturer's recommended serving size for coke or diet coke is 250ml I believe, but I would imagine many diet coke 'addicts' drink at much higher quantities. Either way, it's not nutritious, so whilst it might not be scientifically proven to bad for you, it isn't good either.

I don't think anyone is trying to claim aspartame is good for you, simply that it is not bad for you... (Or at least as bad as the people who reckon that reading a random unverified article on aspartame on the internet gives them scientific credibility are acting it is)

if anyone had an ounce of sense they would do what I do I get everyone in my office to pass me coke bottles cans etc when they remember got 2000+ points and I still get to drink pepsi which is much better

Hi Callum, a good point well made.....be interested to know what if ps+ is worth getting for the free stuff, and whether you wouldn't just get the free stuff anyway with a normal psn account?

Either way the 80 bottles of coke is the really **** part of this deal.....

I'm one for moderation in all things, sugar whilst bad for you is quasi- natural, I'd rather that than aspartame.
Aspartame, has long been associated with tumours in lab rats etc.....too many peer-reviewed articles to even suggest otherwise.....

It's safe for the wife tho......Bah Humbug !!!

I should say (but didn't before as I was in a hurry) that these are good deals if you have the points, but I know my account only has a few points if they have not removed them long ago.

My comment was actually meant to read that the primary reason fizzy drinks are bad for your teeth is due to being carbonated as opposed to the sugar content. I have not read Wikipedia on this subject, though might now do to see what it says. I actually have a general knowledge about these things from being (I hope) properly educated by the schools I attended at a younger age, I am no expert though so if you have done your own studies on the subject, feel free to enlighten me. To support my original comment as it appears necessary, the first Google result I got is a BBC News health article from 2004.

"Parents need to understand that while high levels of sugar cause decay, … "Parents need to understand that while high levels of sugar cause decay, it is the acidity of certain products that causes erosion."While drinking 'diet' versions of fizzy drinks reduces sugar consumption, these products are very acidic and can still cause erosion."

I will also add a quote from the bottom for clarity as I am sure someone else will pick up on the note anyway:

The spokesman stressed that the paper did not prove that soft drink … The spokesman stressed that the paper did not prove that soft drink consumption caused tooth erosion - it just highlighted a statistical association.

Having said all this, everything in moderation, I intend to continue drinking the fizzy drinks I enjoy for years to come as well as tea, fruit juice, beer and wine, all in moderation.

a 6/8 pack
single cans
bottles

Ah fudge I've seen loads of bottles at ours and parties over xmas I could have taken the codes. Where are they? Reverse of the label?

Last time I think these where on the cardboard of boxes, in a card on the 6/8 packs. On the ring pulls of the single cans, and etched on to the plastic of the bottles

Really? How does that happen? Its only an old hukd page? Probs best avoided then, it was an ipod touch for 400 points and deal telling folk to go to the supermarket and buy a hundred quids worth!

I went to woolworths on the day it closed its doors and bought 170 500ml bottles on 2 for £1.50 and 50% off everything at the till! Got my ipod touch and a LOAD of coke for about 70quid!

Not sure why expire ... I just claimed this! Been saving up for a while for something decent to get.
