    Best wait after 22/09 rates announcement, as it's likely to increase again.
    Just because the BOE put interest rates up it doesnt follow that savings interest rates will follow suit for example virgins 1.71% rate has not changed over the past two rate hikes

    Zopa have now increased their notice accounts also with only £1 deposit needed. 95 day account now pays 2.25% (edited)
    I'm very impressed with Zopa so far, too. They boosted their rates for existing fixes just yesterday, so those already locked in don't miss out.
