This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Summer is potentially coming. After last summers heat wave, and not being able to buy an air conditioner for love nor money. Maybe worth getting in a bit earlier.

Really good price for a 9000BTU Air conditioner. From my searching a similar spec would be about £400.

Very noisy in night also have to leave window open for the duct pipe …Very noisy in night also have to leave window open for the duct pipe better to buy DYSON COOL FAN nice cold air and very silent

This actually cools a room, not just move the warm air around it...
If you're happy with that, you should buy almost any fan over the Dyson - it's massively over-priced for the "bladeless" gimmick (the blades are in the base).

Got a couple of these from screwfix last summer, can’t sleep through the noise they generate, but they really make a difference to cool down a room

indeed, does this have a hose?

All have to have a hose to expel the heat. If they don't they're not proper air conditioning, just 'evaporative coolers'.

Bought a similar, slightly bigger one from b and q ten years ago for 350, still going strong.

We use one to cool the bedroom during the day and then put it on fan only mode during the night. Sleep peacefully

Can’t really confirm, as we sit both of them right under windows, so don’t have to extend them.....

nice job wish I had your skill (and time and patience)
Not much of a deal - I bought this last week for £10 less at Screwfix
Just spotted a difference between this and the one on screwfix. This one has wheels, the screwfix one does not. Probably worth the extra £9.
Not a bad price for a 9000 BTU, snap one up before they raise the price. I bought a different one for £259 just before the heatwave, after a couple of days of sun it's gone up to £329. Whatever you do don't waste your money on a Dyson, they're glorified fans and DO NOT bring down the temperature of a room. Bear in mind with a portable air con you will obviously need to expell the hot air out of a window

Can confirm it does have wheels as it’s a bit hefty otherwise

Agreed that was the point of me posting it. Back of the net!
Anyone got one of these Blyss air conditioning units? I know they are going to be noisy when on their highest cooling level, but what are they like when on medium or low? (to maintain the lower temp after running at high for a while)

Dont have high hopes on these, the single pipe models take the air cooled from the room and send it out the window, I have in the past hacked one and converted to 2 pipe design, drawing air from outside and ejecting it back, keeping the cool air in the room, it looked crap but did the job, it will also debumidify air so you will have a large difference on a hot and humid day but the tank ia going to fill rather quickly, I have put the ac on a chair and ran a pipe down to a bucket which during heatwave would fill in a day (12L)

Unless the room is very small, you will likely have to run this thing on full blast to get the results

Me also. Plus its the same model so it's the same.
B&Q and screwfix are owned by the same company. Guess they get away with the higher price in B & Q 😁

screwfix is the same model.
