Placed an order with these clowns back in January. No installation visits, no dates, nothing.

Have been chasing for weeks to find out what is happening!

    Avoid.

I think the issues are more for their 40Mb radio based wireless Internet. They are the main infrastructure build supplier for a place I am moving to and they will be supplying the property with FTTP sometime later in the year.

If you can't get FTTP (up to 900Mb or higher depending on area) yet which is Fibre to the Premises and you only have FTTC Fibre to the Cabinet (up to 80Mb usually) then put your postcode in the HM Gov's Gigabit Voucher Scheme website and see if your postcode is eligible, then contact one of the main suppliers they list working in your area to get added to a build >

They had this at an Air Bnb I stayed in for a month, 20 minutes from civiliation and it constantly achieved 700mbps 👌

Check out be-fiber too if this isn't avaliable near you.
£33/month for 720mbps but it's locked to that price for 24 months too. The first 3 months are also only £17. It will go up after 24 months but thats 2 years away and you just switch then, ultra fast broadband will be more common and cheaper than anyway.

But yeah always search Google for smaller fiber companies which dont come up on comparison sites because a bunch of them dont give out commission, same reason why sites like this don't like em much either. just a simple "town name fiber broadband" will bring them up if there are any.

Why do you need two routers?

Are they mesh perhaps? If so would give greater coverage (edited)

Cheaper in rural area than in urban. UK prices are a joke. I’m paying £76 at VM for 1gb with 50mb upload - Heat though (edited)

Because the likes of Virgin Media can keep buying these guys up! The competition watchdog is useless.

Have dealt with this co in the past... Not great when it comes to cancelling or changing contract.... Would only use as a last resort...!

Also 900 Mbps is what you can achieve as a speed when you are hardwired to the router via an ethernet connection. With WiFi connections, your over the air speeds max out at 450ish at best.

WI-FI 6 enabled routers resolve this issue, BT had a smart hub 3 tested and ready to go but have had a chip supply issue and quietly binned it. meanwhile EE who are owned by BT are going to release theirs v.soon

Not available… actually a shame as I pay £50 for 50mb with Wessex Internet (satellite) —living in a “rural” area (Shaftesbury, Dorset)
