£100 for a 12 month SIM Only (£20 per month)

quidco.com/vod…ne/

Good Call!

HOT!

Getting the £15 deal works out better (unless you're likely to use more than 10 hours of talk time every month).

With £70 Quidco it works out at £9.16 per month

Does this included free mobile data?

Thanks Op

Flamin hot deal

You might want to put what network it is in the title, or the description for that matter.

A word of caution for those relying on Quidco discount. I signed up to a similar deal with O2 a few weeks ago but the Quidco didn't track (wasn't recorded). I cancelled the SIM within 14 days in line with terms and conditions but was billed £219 cancelation charge! I have since spoken to O2 and my bank to ensure the money isn't lifted from my account. It's been more hassle than I hoped for so thought it was worth mentioning. If you're going for this deal be sure to check your quidco account, online phone account and emails from the phone company.

it doesn't include mobile internet so not good for me.

Highly recommended. Had several mobile deals via Quidco over teh last two years and not one single problem. Touch wood.

Yea l had that with mine as well but it was no hassle at all, just phoned O2 and it was sorted out in like 5 mins. ;-).

Did you clear your cookies? I now use a dedicated browser entirely for Quidco transactions (Opera) and my Quidco account never missed a track since

When I was renewing my O2 contract I phoned O2 and said "Vodafone is doing £100 Quidco" and O2 offered me an 18 month contract with 400 mins and unlimited texts for £15/month. Doesn't sound that great because it's 18 months... but they effectively gave me 9 months free in the form of £135 credit to counteract the £100 Vodafone Quidco :-D

I am basically getting 400 mins and unlimited texts for £7.50/month. Moral of the story is: always phone your current provider and try to haggle a deal first.

good deal for chatterboxes, quidco does take time to come through, took me 6 mnths to get mine,
deal is hot.

Anyone know the best deal for text only or rather unltd text + say 100mins mth?

Emmm, if not this then see below:

hotukdeals.com/ite…th/

Also, what about this;
- Vodafone 100mins, 500 texts, 24 month. Includes your choice of phone, i.e. SE C510 (worth around £80-£100).
- Quidco £90 for a pay monthly sale (as this is).

So, 24x£10 = £240.
- £90 = £150.
£150 / 24 months = £6.25.

So 100 mins, 500 texts a phone worth £100 all for £6.25 month?!?!

Sell the phone for £100, and thus subtract this from the £150 outlay and you have a 24 month contract (100mins, 500 texts) @ just £2.08 month?!?!?!?!

WOW!
Or am I missing something?!

no unlimited internet so cold for me.

and quidco normally works ok. mine didnt track this time round but i put in an earning enquiry and am confident ill come out dry the other side.

Yeh call them up and complain. I was on an older price plan and yesterday I called up complaining about how I feel like I am getting ripped off.... ended up £5 cheaper, unlimited text compared to 100 a month and 100 minutes extra of calls per month.... She said call again next month and complain again, will drop it down by another £5.... But yeh new customers seem to always get the better deals....

With £90 Quidco and a good free phone seems a no brainer?!

does using the 'freeucascalls' student promotion stop me from getting the quidco cashback?
thanks in advance.

i'm currently with vodafone on an outdated tariff thats due for potential renewal /upgrade 2moro.

Can i switch to a £15 sim only 12/24 mths contract and will they match quidco's discount or provide an alternative loyalty discount?

Best way to find out is to call them, just write down the best offers u can find online with and without quidco so you are prepared to compare what they offer.... Also check out the phones what you like and base it around them as well as sim only.... Sometimes with the phone can be better if u can sell it off via friends or ebay [again check ebay prices for a general guide]....
Good Luck!

Yeah I thought I had no problems at first too. I phoned O2, cancelled the SIm and was told that was fine. Two weeks later I received a bill by email. It was probably just generated automatically, but it created unnecessary hassle and anxiety. As did the Quidco for not tracking in the first place.

voted hot, great deal

I just phoned vodafone about this as I'm in the market for a new contract. I asked the guy how much it would be to add unlimited web and he said £5 (to the £20 12mnth deal) but was quite pushy about signing me up over the phone. So i said there's £100 cashback from quidco and he offered me these deals:
£20 12 mnth 900 mins unlim txts and web
or
£17.50 12 mnth 600 mins unlim txts and web

I then rang O2 and asked them to match it but they won't budge. Thought ths might be useful to someone, i really really want the ~£100 quidco to come back on O2 simplicity....

voting cold because no internet ?!
anyway internet is £5 for unlimited. also vodafone do 1 month free trial so over 1 year it would be would work out as only £4.58 a month.
still works out well if you missed the o2 deals.

no internet,

t-mobile (solo) doing 600 minutes, unltd txt, and free net for £20 + £20 quidco. In theory u get a free month as it is only a rolling 30 contract.

think O2 are doing similar things as well, but not sure about quidco.

It may seem a good deal if u need the minutes, but u have to chance quidco and its a 12 month contract.. whereas the t-mob and O2 can be monthly.

As the above poster mentioned, u have to add £5 for the web, which i think everyone uses nowadays.. i use it to pass time when i take a number 2 at work ^_^

can i port my number at a later date

with the vodafone deal you pay
£9.17 + £4.58 = £13.75 for 600mins etc
£11.67 +£4.58 = £16.25 for 900mins etc

how is that not better for a 12month contract then the t-mobile one ??

when did i say it was a better deal?

i said u have to chance quidco, which u cannot say will go through 100% .. also u will be contracted for a minium of 12 months.

Can this be ordered as an upgrade? My girlfriend is currently on the £20pm Voda 30 day sim only. She wants to upgrade to the 12 month £15pm contract and claim the £70 Quidco. Can she order this, through Quidco, as an upgrade and stay on her current sim card and avoid having to give the 30 days notice on her old contract and messing about with porting numbers (PAC) etc?

All 30 day rolling pay monthly SIM only sales have a three month validation period. All sales will initially track at the rate of £15 and will be updated dependant on the contract/tariff upon validation.
