It not even supply and demand: it's capitalising on stupid people, much like the National Lottery...

caffe nero got funny when i plugged my tassimo in

They don't pay tax. Think I will stick with Starbucks.
dailymail.co.uk/new…tml

This company pays less tax than Starbucks ^_^ no cooperation tax whatsoever.

But it's a hot deal tho....

no thanks dont need have a bean to cup machine better coffee than they have

I don't care if they pay tax or not I'll still go and get my free coffee from Waitrose cafe with myWaitrose card.

Wow. I actually like Nero. Having worked as a costa manager for 4 years way back I can say that costa roast coffee has declined in quality, Starbucks is awful unless you want a sweet coffee containing drink, barring a few indie stores Nero comes out on top. Food offering could be better.

As for price, same for all things. People always moan about prices, I charge £4.25 for a bulmers, which can be had at home for a pound. I also pay £70k per year rent, business rates, staff wages, energy costs etc etc. I actually make less 50p

Coffee deals make everyone argue haha

agree, if you like coffee, buy coffee. If you don't, you are entitled to your opinion, then go and find a deal you will like. Heat added.

I can not figure out if you only have one month to use or not?

Surprised ebay allow this, clearly this is fraud and they have stolen or replicated the stamp

Well you can if you have morals... Exploiting loopholes for big discounts is one thing, flat out theft is another. You're no better than someone who walks in and runs off without paying.

Yes because Caffé Nero have such outstanding morals, avoiding tax as they do which is basically just a technically legal form of theft in my opinion. I for one applaud his actions.

Not at all theft its having your hq in a country that has better tax conditions, its basically like buying something from asda because its on offer.the government have every chance to change this but they havent.

This is out and out theft and handling stolen goods, its just the same as buying a stolen stamp off ebay and doing it yourself

Gotta agree, nero is the best tasting, I buy their ground coffee £5.50 for 2 packs for my cafetiere at home for the mornings, BTW I have a tassimo and its used when I rarely can't be bothered making a proper coffe.

How can anyone like starbucks?? Horrible weak taste

cmon, lets be honest 'most' people would if they could avoid Tax, businesses are no different

I want to buy one but want to know how long I'll have to use the card-£45 will last me about 4 months as I only have 1 a week from Nero (plus my free one from Priority Moments on a Tuesday!!). Anyone know???

I don't mind the usual pay £10 for £20 offers on Costa or Starbucks etc but £45..... Not a bloody chance too much for one hit for me. Heat for the offer though if it benefits someone

Tax avoidance is completely legal. Tax revenues completely wasted in the UK...
