Equal to 5 190g jars at 40p each! Made in Italy. BBE 17/12/2017. Found in Aberdeen Gt Northern Rd; not sure if national.

It's a lot of pesto, so I've frozen mine as pesto ice cubes! They quickly melt in the pan.

These are still on sale, same best before date of 17.12.17 though. What a bargain! Can pesto be frozen? Might put the sauce into the larger ice cube trays and put straight into the pan from frozen when they are needed.

It certainly can be frozen. Another tip is to spread it on a baking tray, freeze it, then break it into pieces and put it in a freezer bag. The thin pieces melt more quickly in a pan.
