only thing wrong is the pretty low res

Or you could get this dixons.co.uk/mar…id= for £440 plus discount codes if available ok its a refurb but £300 note cheaper than this one.

Welcome to hukd!

Nice spec, has the new centrino 2 platform, and its a great brand, the dv5 range looks nice.

I have voted hot, it isnt for everyone, but its the cheapest I can find this particular model.

The DV5-1011EA doesnt have a fingerprint reader, so empire have the wrong pic listed.

A Blu-Ray drive might cost £150 but it sure ain't worth that to a lot of people. I bought that Acer while it was in stock- I didn't buy the HP because it had the Blu-Ray drive in it and I didn't need it.

Anyway, £20 for the extra GB is useless since Vista can't recognise most of it. The two year warranty that comes free with the Acer is worth a small fortune (costs £140 in comet...). Not only that, but the graphics card has DDR3 RAM in it rather than DDR2 in your HP, so is better. :whistling
