Just sent back one to Aldi as it developed a fault, this one will be a whole lot better to do the dogs claws as no trailing wires

I have a Westie and have ummed and r'd about trying something like this on her as she hates the normal clippers. Any tips/which tool to use for claws please?

My dogs, plus myself, hate clippers too. I use the the rolls of sandpaper, you can see them in the lower left part of the picture below

The grinding stones are too hard but the tubes / rolls of sandpaper are perfect. You can buy a tool called pedipaws in Pets at home but they cost about the same but have less other uses than these machines.

All you need to do is hold your dogs paw and claw and gently sand down the excess claw. Good thing about this is that you don't splinter the nail or cut the quick. BTW the pic is of a kit you buy from Aldi for about £5 but you can buy the sandpaper attachment on its own in most hardware stores.

I did my Westies claws last night with one of these and a sand paper type tool, it was soooooooo much better, she was much more relaxed. Thank you again for the advice. :thumbsup:
