Lol it certainly is in Cumbria, and its halfway between Alston and Nent Head so it's hardly in the middle of nowhere. There area is absolutely beautiful (hence why it's a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). But yes, if you want to go to Windermere don't go here, it's no where near that!
