Not for you then. To be fair, for the money you can't go wrong....

I don't believe thes ewoyuld be 'that bad' Ok maybe theyre not for heavy stainless, but lets face it most people will be drilling a bit of Mild steel or tin at home, and with common sense use I'm sure these would be fine, and at these prices you could afford to use a new 'bit' very regularly, and hence get great holes... No stock near any of my potential pickup points , one random seach thre up (5) sets @ Market Drayton However if that helps anyone ..

These are Titanium coated, they will cut through the hardest of metals.

You're guessing, based on price presumably. You shouldn't. I bought two of these sets at 'full price' some months ago and they're great. Survived the complete refurb of a house without any failures. They may not be 'professional' quality (whatever that is) but far better than many other cheap drill bits I've had. Frankly, the metal box alone is worth a fiver!
I bought these, the volume button was stuck but for this price you couldn't turn it down. I'll get me coat
Local Homebase sold out of these months back. Found new stock in there today but not priced up. Took one to the checkout expecting them to be back to full price (~£12, still good) but no - £5!!!!!!!!!! Brilliant! The metal box they come in is worth that.

Lucky you, I have been to 4 different homebase stores when passing looking for these, but no such luck
At least 4 more in Solihull today if that's any use.

The drill bit fairy's must have been reading these posts, went in my local homebase today just for a nose round, as I turned towards the tool isle, 2 boxes full of these freshly laid out greated me. First time I've seen them in my store. So I got 2 of them
