amazing, first the barrel was shootin out the roof and now the 'credit crunch' is here the petrol price is back to normal . . .

Just as well I didnt fill up at Shell, put a safe £10 in at 103.9...waiting for it to drop below the pound before filling up!

Wow only 99.9p per litre - £4.55 a gallon
Only £60 to fill up now then

Filled up in my local Morrisons this morning and it is still 106.9 so not nationwide

dont fill up at morisons, you will use the unleaded pump and get diesel.

I just got mine from the Glenrothes morrisons. i passed the shell garage at 2.45pm, price there was still advertised at 104.9

It seems that the supermarkets are so keen to get petrol below £1 that they've decided to keep screwing diesel owners for 12p extra to pay for it.

Talking of fuel, does anybody know of the cheapest place to but Heating Oil? I currently use boiler juice but don't know how they compare?

Shells a little slow at changing the board It'll probably not change until the next shift starts:giggle:

good to hear- I've been putting off filling up for a week, hoping this might happen. Hope my local Morrisons has a half decent Unleaded price.

The percentage of tax we get charged is very similar to that of the last year of the Tory government, labour then lowered the tax percentage and it's gradually crept back up to that level.

You've deluded if you believe the chap on his Bike would do any different, in fact even if the Lib Dems got in they'd still do the same sort of thing. That's the way politicians are...

I'm in charge of the board at Glenrothes Shell, but I'm too busy reading this site to go update it...

Edit - the Boro badge and info on the left might give away the fact I'm lying there, now I think about it!

God - can't believe it its BOGOFF at my local Morrisons.

They are charging £1.998 a litre
