rip ron moody. perhaps my fav adaption of Oliver

just been having a brief discussion with the OH and this seems like quite a cool idea. Would this be useful for buying from the likes of aliexpress or "mail order" companies that dont accept paypal? like risk damage management?

Are they good enough to get refund though if you buy somethibg from aliexpress and don't receive the goods... as I've used PayPal for stuff on ioffer and they have gave me my money back when I didn't receive goods.

Also how long does it take to arrive from placing order... anybody know?
Was looking a few days ago but still considering getting one.

Can I transfer money from Paypal to this card?

I think this is not as generous cashback as previously, but the only deal at the moment, since a long time.

Can you buy several cards to make bigger profit?

Is anyone else having issues when entering payment details?

COLD
I got one of these cards, put £20 on it, expected my £8.40 from TopCashBack, but never got it...
I didn't bother chasing up with TCB as I knew it was BS advertising, TCB pulled the plug with them as no one would get there cashback..
SO I made a "£20 transcaction, card is now empty and sat in my draw in work....
Oh and the fact it says "Electronic Use Only" on the front of the card makes it pretty pointless.....

Exactly what I use my Orange Cash pre-loaded card for, as far as they are concerned it's a MasterCard Debit card.

Presumably you can only spend the money that is loaded onto the card? It won't 'self fund' or top up without you doing so???

Thanks ordered.

Can you use these for gambling? Canny see anything in terms n conditions (only searched by the word gambling and betting)

looks like a no brainer heat added. I have a paypal card that is similar I can only spend what is in my pp account.

Edit: Do I need to add the £10 within 7 days of receiving the card or 7 days from being accepted does anyone know? or can I just add the £10 now since I've had my confirmation email? thanks.

Edit 2: First load (min £10) must be within 7 days of sign up.

My first load is worth more than a fiver.

I've had one of these for ages, but never really found a use for it. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Buy stuff

Oh FFS. I clicked the "get deal" link, and did not go through that link posted in the OP, and there is no mention of the £5 credit.

I am thinking of getting it to put my Grandsons pocket money on , so then he can buy stuff with his pocket money and leave his savings in the bank

let me know as well if you can. i have used a cash plus master card for that purpose in the past. They are prepaid cash cards with online banking. however its price is £4.99 (one time). you can google for more info.

Never got my cashback previously either, so in the end there's a good chance you will lose 99p rather than gain £4.01.
Did like the idea of these though and got two for my teenage kids to allow them to carry money when they're out in a safer form than cash.

Ditto, I signed up via Quidco and I'm still waiting on the cashback. spent the credit I topped up and not used it since.

The Orange cashcard Mastercard was the best, sadly it's ending next month.

We use the Osper card for kids. Costs £10 a year though. Specially set up for kids. osper.com

I bought one of these cards when they had the quidco offer, and they've never paid. The cards are quite good, but you can't move money off the cards which is really annoying. I won't be using this card again, as I dislike dishonest companies. If they didn't pay the cash back, I wouldn't count on them honouring this offer either.

Just to add to the history on these, I had one when quidco were offering £8 cashback back in January. The transaction is tracked in quidco, but payment is still pending "The retailer is taking longer than expected to process your transaction. We apologise for the delay."
Whether I ever get the cashback remains to be seen, which is the reason I got the card, however it gives cash back to the card, on quite a few well known places, for us Bella Italia is a family favourite, so I always pay there with this card, and that gives me cash back at the end of each month, now far more than the original cash-back.
So if you're dubious because of the quidco\tcb cashback record, have a look at places the card gives cashback, that might tip the balance, and if I ever get the quidco money it's a bonus.

Heat added for the free fiver but my personal experience was that I was looking for a card like this so that I could safely send CC details to a company in Canada when I was buying a present for a relative. I ordered the card in plenty of time (so I thought) but in the end it took over 3 weeks to arrive so I had to use my regular debit card in the end.

No cash back paid Avoid waited over 6 months since April false claim!

Put it in the bin waste

I agree, avoid, no cashback paid, no customer service, stay away.

I think you're misunderstanding what that means - it can be used online or in stores where Chip and Pin is accepted just like any other debit card. It cannot be used where a retailer takes a swipe of a card on an old-fashioned carbon swipe machine, because the numbers are printed not embossed. That's all that "electronic use only" means.
