99p rental at Blockbuster this week.

This week only at your local BLOCKBUSTER® store all movie and game rentals are only 99p!

Also, anyone who rents something for 99p gets a "rent one get one free" voucher valid 31/07-13/08 [thanks for the extra info leepea!].

Plus, any 7 night rentals (including TV boxsets which are notmally £5) have not changed on the computer system, so these can be kept for a week for 99p!

Thanks for the info Quaver

Thanks quaver! Not to put a downer on this, but I think an awful lot of people on this forum are signed up to some sort of DVD rental service (probably a free trial!!!). But I'm sure some will use this.

Also this is for local in-store rentals, which quite a few people still use.

Thanks for the extra info leepea

Also, (but don't tell them i told you!) if you take a 7 night rental (including tv boxsets which normally cost a fiver) and say you just want it for the night they'll charge you 99p. Nevertheless, this will still give you a week to watch them without incurring extra fees.

Really?

You might want to add that info to the original post leepea or Quaver About the box sets...

Yep, it's true. Pricewise, everything had been changed to 99p All the 2 night rentals have changed to 1 night but the 7 nighters haven't - this is because the "3 for £5 for 7 nights" offer is still on and TV boxsets generally take more than a day to watch. So yeah, take a 7 night rental, pay 99p, keep it for a week! Added to first post.
