Hardware is probably already in the hands of security services.

Dumb burner phones; agreed sensible choice but I would clone the imei & sim, with thrm activated in different locations to circumvent the agency. Well that is what I have been told.

I would interpret "if I come across child porn I will hand the machine to … I would interpret "if I come across child porn I will hand the machine to the police" to mean, "i would go through all your personal pictures looking for something unseemly" which in itself is creepy and would explain why people don't want you fixing their PCs.Law enforcement usually dont have to go through your harddrive to find these pictures anyway, the majority of the pictures are tagged and ISPs (and antivirus scanners) recognize them automatically in network traffic and report offenders to law enforcement anyway.

lol, your paranoia. haven't you noticed when you run a variety of scans it flashes the names of the files on the screen ? you may not see them all but it's a bit suspicious when you come across some names such as donkeyhotkidaction or muffineatingforbeginners etc etc. or are you really that slow that you cannot read them ?

btw for the hard of thinking those names are made up so don't try to find them online. lolol

I don't actively look for it but if I find it I report it. it's amazing how many people then don't need their pc fixed.so just a thought... what IS innocent ? the problem with blanket snooping is that people may be totally innocent of lots and lots of things BUT still want privacy as they have photos of their gf with a kettle on her head or him with a fish in his ear.

Hmmm sounds like you are in a group filled with paedophiles. Might be worth distancing yourself with these 'people'.
