A Boy And His Blob for Nintendo Wii ... £10 InStore At Sainsburys

Just popped into my local Sainsburys (Huddersfield) and picked up a copy of A Boy And His Blob for the Nintendo Wii for only £10. Looking around the internet it seems to be roughly £15 cheapest online. Anyone local to that branch might be interested to know they had a few copies left. I also managed to bag a copy of Punch Out for the Wii too for only £6 but that looked like it was the last copy.

Enjoy

Decent reviews too ... ]http//ww…lob

Damn it will you people please stop posting these game deals. This was completely under my radar, and reading the reviews it looks like another awesome must-buy game...

We've got this. It's quite a nice little game for kids, certainly worth a tenner. It's a fairly new game too.

Awesome game - played through the first two worlds last Sunday, and although they were a bit simple they were most enjoyable.

Nice avatar btw indytim!!

Blobs?
At his age?
Sheesh!

this is a quite new game , good price

Cool old school style gameplay wrapped up in a Ghibliesque clothing. The only game I know that has a button to give a blob a hug!

Some of the best 2D animation you'll ever see in a game IMO. It has bags of charm as well. Great price.
An overlooked Wii gem.

There just something not right about the title of this!!!! - or is it just me???

It's just you...

Ah this makes me want to buy a Wii. This was the first game I ever owned on the NES about 18 years ago. If the Wii version is half as good as the NES version this is a must buy!

We had the game on nes too. It was brilliant!. Sadly, i sold my Wii when they had a deal on at Gamestation as i didn't play it, and couldnt find any games i liked. So now i have found one, i can't buy it

Nice avatar...:)
Anyway, every-time I go into my local Sainsburys on Thursdays I keep buying one of their discounted games...if this is in there I'll have to buy it as well...

Trying to find a Sainsburys that has stock is the trick, same with any of their popular discounted titles such as Punch Out!

There's a few in Taunton Hankridge Farm

For those that really want it but can't find it in their store, Amazon have it for £12.99

Managed to get Punch Out! today from Sainsburys Kidlington. Only took them 2 weeks to put the stock out. They seemed to have some pretty good games at good prices:
PES 2009 £15
Grand Slam Tennis £17.99
Conduit £15

Plus lots of the A boy and his blob and de Blob (£15). I hope that helps... I'd almost given up on Punch Out!

My Sainsburys store has quite a lot of games available and I noticed that many had different pricings on them like Star Wars Force Challenge was priced between £14.99 and £34.99 for the PS3, so search the shelves and pick up the cheap ones. You have to take them through the till though as the express self service checkout won't see the cheap prices.

There are copies in Exeter, Pinhoe if anybody is interested.
