Excellent price from what I can find, elsewhere this is around £18+. Cracking good film too.
Painstakingly recreated on actual World War II battlefield locations and boasting a remarkable cast that includes Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins, Robert Redford and Laurence Olivier, A Bridge Too Far accurately recaptures the monumental scope, excitement and danger behind Operation Market Garden—one of the biggest military gambles in history.

You're so right, no marvel characters anywhere.

Lazy retort....some of my favourite War films are Apocalypse Now, Das Boot, The Pianist, Downfall, Platoon, Dunkirk.....this film is horribly innacurate and thinks because it's loaded with A Listers it gets a pass. I'm afraid not, it's dire......

The technical consultant on the Arnhem battle scenes was John Frost, who actually led the battle there. He pulled up Anthony Hoskins who ran hunched down across a road under fire saying a British officer would never stoop in front of his men!
I have read lots on the campaign and don’t think it’s inaccurate. It’s my fav war film personally

Doesn't change it's a poorly made film......just because you have a technical consultant from a battle it doesn't automatically hold you'll get a first class accurate portrayal of the battle.

Don't gete wrong I've seen far worse, I just don't think it's one of the best War movies by a long shot

Are you for real. name one film that has a first class accurate portrayal of a battle ?
having been under fire in the real world everyone you talk to after has a different version of the events.
Personally i love this film, so much of the technical detail down to uniforms and kit is awesome. but then again i am a little biased ( i died twice in this film . Honest)

Well I would accept the accuracy from the bloke (John Frost) who the bridge too far in question is now named after than anyone else. 3000 paras bought that bridge so it’s ours

Well as it's already been pointed out the accuracy of a battle portrayal will vary from person to person, it's completely subjective
