very good, made me laugh LOL

this is in todays sun paper yea?

Why anyone goes to these carvary places is beyond me. Queing up for your food thats been sitting there for ages and then pouring lumpy gravy on it, then getting back to your table to find the rest of your party nearly finished isnt the dining experience I would go for. Yeah its cheap but Id rather eat my own wife's cooking and thats saying something!

It was my belief that this was a good deal until I realised that the meal is £5 before 7pm. Although you don't get the ice cream.

I bet you wouldn't be seen in anything less than a Harvester........:-D

great value, hot

Oh chrisanemma, I bet you never go out with that attitude. the Toby near me prides itself on fresh food (and no lumpy gravy), they also honour the vouchers way after the deadline as they are so busy they can't seat everyone at the same time. Hope you find somewhere that suits as it is sad to think of you sitting in front of the T.V. night after night !!

My mum usually collects these vouchers and takes us all out for dinner.

Our local (Northampton) Toby isn't bad - we've had some good meals and some average meals but for a fiver is a good deal.

Voting hot for this one Thanks

do i need to buy The Sun to get this deal or is it just a notification? I thought Toby Carvery food was around that price anyway.

the 2 near me dont have food sitting there for ages or lumpy gravy.....my wife's roasts are miles better but the ones near us in Reading provide the best roast ive had in a restaurant...the food doest sit there for ages as they do about 3000-5000 covers a week, always busy, but you dont have to queue up for long.
