A Charles Tyrwhitt Shirt Delivered for £14.90 plus 10% Possible Cashback

Found 11th May 2014
There are several non-sale shirts on the CTShirts website priced at £19.95 and standard delivery on these is £4.95. Add the discount code 'SPRING4' at the checkout to reduce one of these to £14.90 delivered.

If you're ordering multiple shirts you're better off placing individual orders as you can reuse the code. You're effectively cancelling out the postage and getting £5.05 off each shirt in using it.

If you go via Quidco or Topcashback you can also potentially get 10% cashback.

12/05 - My Quidco has tracked at £1.99, so really £12.91 for the shirt - not bad.

31/05 - Notice my Quidco has been declined. I've submitted a cashback claim. See comments below.

Go via a cashback site such as Quidco or TCB if you use them for 10% back.

Make sure you browse the non-sale shirts, just click on the 'Shirts' link (top left, next to the 'Home' link) on the first page of the site or click here. The default should be that they are sorted by price lowest to highest, pick out a £19.95 shirt, quite a few to pick from.

Apply the code SPRING4 at the checkout to bring the price delivered down to £14.90.

Thanks. Assume you have to be a logged in customer of Lloyd's Bank to view this?

Nice.

Thanks for posting, very good quality shirts, although not as good as my last shirt from them which was £8.90 delivered!

Always buy non-iron! the shirts crease very easily throughout the day if you don't. Other than that, great price!

Good deal but I don't think I have ever been a 14.5" neck!

Ha - that was just for a screenshot, they seem to have plenty of sizes available.

Thanks, bought a blue non-iron one

Ordered a Lilac Twill and Grey Panama in 15" collars. I like my TM Lewin shirts but by all accounts these CT's are supposed to be better so for the same price I am a happy person

Hasn't tracked on TCB yet but I used the SPRING4 code anyway for a £10 saving. There is also FREESD for free shipping and a 7% code pops up on the site when you click through if you are spending more than £143

Glad it's of use. Be interested to hear your opinion of these shirts compared to TM Lewin.

Be interested to hear what TCB actually tracks at. As I mention in the OP Quidco came through at £1.99 for a £14.90 total spend.

FREESD is ok, but needs to be on a spend of £20 or more. Even at £20 the £10 off approach is still better, but as you mention if you hit £143(!) it might be useful X)

I can't ever seem to get CT shirts to fit properly. I'm a 15" and require 34" arms but their 15" comes with 33" arms. TM Lewin on the other hand do my perfect size.

I agree. The ones I had that were not non-iron looked like they needed ironing as soon as I had finished ironing them.

Not sure if I can give any useful advice, but if you did want a CT shirt you'd either have to stick at the 15" collar and pay £8.95 for customisations, or try a 15.5" collar for which you can get 34" arms. Realise neither of these may be (great) solutions for you.

Great shirts. Many thanks for the heads up.

Totally agree about buying the non-iron. They are brilliant shirts. The ones that were not non-iron were crushed and nasty after a day's wear.

good shirts, but if you are like a normal slim bloke, buy extra slim, slim fit are not even close, still fatty sizes

Nice. Did cashback track ok?

Wondering if anyone tried TCB? Both them and Quidco claim to be 10%, but I think it's got to be a glitch that Quidco seem to be tracking the price before discount (and even that is plus a few pennies).

TCB isn't tracking for mine but the shirt feels pretty nice! Gonna buy one or two more

Good stuff. Maybe go the Quidco route? I had 2 / 2 track at £1.99.

Doesn't quidco charge £5 up-front? They'll just end up keeping it lol. Anyway, already bought another one using TCB again

There's a free option, same as TCB. A bit explained here - quidco.com/blo…um/

Even if you go for Premium it's not charged upfront, £5 is taken at the end of the year only if you've earnt more in cashback (as I understand).

Having problems getting right through the checkout process on the Tyrwhitt site. Everyone else managing okay or do I have a local IT issue?

Strange as I have already bought one but was heading back for more. Thanks OP by the way!!

I'm hoping people ordering multiple shirts placed individual orders to maximise the saving(?)

I ordered 4 shirts using quidco and the spring 4. Quidco Tracked at £8.60 which was the subtotal before I got £10 off so happy days on that one.

A bit annoyed tonight to check my Quidco and find the CT transactions have been declined. I've submitted cashback claims for them, entering the correct amount actually charged (e.g. £14.90) which will make the cashback slightly less (£1.49). I'm wondering if they tracked too high to start with and have declined them due to that, seems a bit off if so. Otherwise maybe they don't like the voucher being used as well. If others see this I hope they can do the same.
