Cold as ice, they are between £3 and £5 every week.
You would hope these days that people would be a little more imaginative then red roses on Valentine's Day! It's a bit "petrol station flowers", isn't it? Zero thought or effort gone into it.
My wife would rather have a tub of roses. Chocolate always seems to go down better than flowers.
Love roses and love Valentine's! Heat added.

Well I usually buy my girlfriend a bouquet of lilies, but that's probably getting a bit boring now, so roses it is!

I think just some good, nice flowers are fine, it's the cliché of roses that's the downfall.

Not the roses' fault though. Leave the roses alone!

Think Valentine's is all about clichés though? I want roses, champagne, heart shaped chocolates, eggs fried in the shape of love hearts and toast cut into hearts-I'm an advertisers dream (and other folks nightmare X))
Anyhow, just off to Tesco now, will see if they have these in and report back on the quality
I'd say ANYTHING is better than zero effort, even if it is a bunch of roses.
To quote that old saying.. "Its the thought the counts". Isnt that so true no matter how small or big a gift you buy?
I brought dozen roses for the mrs today at tesco, cost me £20! Wish I had seen these ones lol. Left the price in on purpose;).

Totally agree, for most women I know it's all in the thought. Though to be fair some of the best ones for my friends and I have involved a wee bit of cash and a good bit of imagination
Since when did valentines day become the day when men buy women presents! typical of women to take ownership. What next, Easter the time when men buy women Easter eggs. Christmas, a day when men buy women presents.
Probably going to get a few who disagree but unlike most women I'm not bothered about valentines day I do not see the point bothering for that 1 day it should be all year of I love you and showing appreciation rather than gifts however (rant over lol) I will buy these for my mum as a thank you for always being there as she loves roses a great price to put a smile on her face heat added.

Every week except Valentines week, though! Find them cheaper this week and post a deal, if you can?

I know what you mean, no point in being a rotter 364 days of the year and thinking a bunch of roses on the other makes means you're making an effort! I just think it's a bit of fun really. In the same way I'm always buying my parents wee bits and pieces, I like to make an extra effort on Mothers and Fathers Day. Hope your mum likes her roses!

That's dangerous talk on here
Saw these earlier and took a picture (apologies for the poor quality!) Ok for £5 but pretty small and just in clear cellophane, no ribbons or "frills" They had other types available Luxury single rose. 6 luxury roses and 12. These ranged from a couple of pounds to £25 but you could definitely see the different between the £5 ones and the "luxury" ones. Still a decent price at 12 for £5 at Valentine's though I think?
edited to add-sorry the pics so small, think it's because I emailed it from my phone-could provide a bigger one but it's just for the general idea of them really.

I buy my wife a bunch of flowers every week ,usually aldi £2 bunch of something different every week and i have done every week for the last 9 years, so i rarely if ever buy valentines day flowers as they are so horrifically overpriced. However these are a pretty good price if the quality is good so who knows, she wont expect it that's for sure!
