Competition before time.

A Dozen Red Roses, £5 @ Aldi (Aval from 4th Feb).

Lidl beat them with this offer. I can't expect to much quality for that price, maybe roses are miniatures. They include this product on their everyday range.

Because nothing says "I love you" like £3.30 flowers...

Well of course if they were £100 they’re be bloody fantastic and the person you give then too would realise that you “REALLY LOVE THEM!”...(mad) .......... snobbery at its finest ! Some people out there have no money and that’s why it’s a DEAL to them........... P****!

would rather give 3.30 bunch given from the heart than a 50.00 bunch given because you should give them

Oh Hi Johnny. I didn't recognise you.
To be fair the flowers from Lidl last a hell of a lot longer than the likes of Asda, Sainsburys etc...

Not as much as you may think. The price the florist pays for the roses is pretty high to start of with.Unless you own a string of shops floristry is pretty much a scrape by job.

I agree.

I would rather my husband bought me cheap (or no flowers) than spend £40+on them, which he used to do for special occasions. Such a waste of money on something that lasts a few days.

My husband bought me a family photo shoot for mothers day last year, which was a nice day out and the photos will last forever /as long as the hardrive/backup lasts!
As someone who worked as a florist for 7 years I have to say this is an ok deal. Peeps need to realise that yes the dozen large roses for £60-£100 are lovely ,however this is a really bad time of year for any cut flowers ,with central heating being on quite a lot of the day and night.I'd personally either go for the cheap roses or mid range ones.If the person you're buying for wouldn't appreciate either I'd seriously advise you to have a real close look at your relationship.🤔

Wouldn't you rather get some decent ones for £15 in Tesco? These are terrible

Why do they have to be £40, what's wrong with £10-£15 for good ones and not £3.30 for tat

Been working for Tesco long?
I buy my mum a bunch of Lidl Roses every week (along with a bottle of fizz) and they are excellent value. Not a cheapskate just don't see the point in spending stupid money for flowers when you're told you have to buy them by the media. All about the thought for me - plus my mum loves them!! Great price - have some heat.
Great deal’ heat

flowers are flowers.

the fact that your man has taken the trouble to go into the shop, choose the flowers, queue up and pay. bring them all the way home to give to you especially on valentine's day is enough to show that they care about you getting in a huff if you didn't get any flowers. lol

i give full marks to any bloke that does this, irrespective of how much he spent on the flowers

Been working for Tesco long?

No but been buying their flowers for ages
This deal confuses me because I bought 11 white roses from Lidl today for £2.09. (I am not joking)

Overall they are good not great. They had longer stems but I cut them to fit the vase.
