Like* New (my opinion) - how can you have such an opinion without viewing them or do you work at argos?

The listing says "This product may have minor cosmetic marks or scratches. These will not hinder the functionality" - hardly like new

You've purchased all the ones that they're selling? Somehow I doubt that. If argos aren't confident enough to say that they're like new I don't see how you can be. If people buy this on your completely invalid and irrelevant opinion and get a scratched one they will have no recourse as the listing CLEARLY states they may be scratched.

Well they can dig down a little bit more to check themselves. Are you stating people are sheeps?

Why should people have to "dig down a little bit more to check themselves" to find the real condition when you could just not put misleading and inaccurate information on the first place?

Please don't try to turn this to things I didn't say, if you can't defend your position with reasonable points and not make things up that is a fair indication of whether or not you're wrong
.

Moot point, it's been corrected now, thanks.

Well I am sticking to it, Like New.
When I purchased my s8 plus at the 20% discount from ebay/Argos it was also a grade A refurb and pristine. The slight downside was it did not come with a charger or headphones.
Hot, but condition can be a mixed bag in my experience. I brought one phone which was pristine, and an 'A-Grade' S7 where the screen was literally hanging off and there was glue all around the frame.....at the end of the day though it's a simple job to return and get a refund and you could grab a bargain.

how much did you get it for at that time? we all have chargers lying around here and there, headphones just buy the really good ones.
Showing at £299 for me
Unless the refurbishment process involves fitting a fresh new battery, I'd be wary of this. 2yr old lithium batteries are pretty much at their EoL.
Once delivered is there a way to find out how long the battery has been in use?

Purchased a 12 month old one and soon flogged it on, battery life was awful, I now have a Huawai P10 and it is far better with its battery. Would not buy another Samsung due to its poor battery life

Bargain of the year for me, saved £75 with the code and 5% quidco. In total £100 saving paid £400

This was the deal:

hotukdeals.com/dea…107
I've just cracked the screen on mine (2 weeks before my contract is up!) and I have been quoted 200 quid just for that!
I bought the same listing but the s7 edge version a few weeks ago when the eBay 20% off deal was on (so even cheaper). The phone came with one small scratch on the side. Otherwise it was like new, with OEM cable and the smart switch adapter. Battery health on accubattery is 75% currently.

It's due to the cost of the screen. The only other way is to get the screen reglassed if the LCD isn't broken. However you need a real expert with the right equipment to do this, I would say most high street/facebook phone repairers aren't capable of doing a proper screen reglass. You need to use a service such as "Samsung (48 hrs) LCD Screen Glass Replacement Service (Galaxy S Series)" on eBay. £67.99 , I'd check what warranty they give as well on the repair. I'm not recommending you do use that service btw. I have no idea if they really can reglass the screen properly. You need expertise and the right tools and not some LOCA glue /OCA film bodge job.

Yes, really disappointed with S7, just under a year old, the battery would drop by 30% during the night whilst phone was doing nothing, utter rubbish, in fact worst battery time I have ever had on a phone, soon got shut of it. No good having a flagship phone that is on charge most of the time

Thanks, picked up a Huawai P10 for 280 with dual Leica lenses and battery is great. I got to the stage on the S7 where I turned off data/wifi, to conserve battery, what is the point of having a smart phone and having to do that. When I started to read up it was a common thing

Good choice my friend, I would trade the phone into cex. Battery is one thing they not bothered about.
